We are in Antler, North Dakota and now the Hunt Begins…

*** I will write more when we stop at a truck stop to eat! I am looking forward to a country fried steak, smothered in white – pepper gravy and a side of mashed potatoes to boot. But now I will sleep… ***

Well after a few days of travel we are now in North Dakota (No I did not write more so quit whining!) and have found the little town that we searched for. I am sitting in a tiny diner with Ben and Dogg! (Yes they don’t tell get out to a titanium toothed dog!) Dogg loves home cooking and besides there might only be 50 people living in this town…

I decided to update you all on what we are doing. The trip was uneventful except at the beginning and that I already told you about. I still think of that bear dragging that Zombie off…

We are in a little town called Antler it is located near the border of Canada and is right off the main highway, state road 256. Not much to look at but the food is good and the people nice. The town looks like a good place to get lost in, why it even has a court house in the square with gravel roads everywhere. My kinda town, but Ben and Dogg are grumpy and talking about hicks and country people…

They have a gun shop and we are going to look around tomorrow. First we have to find a place to stay for the night and it looks like the waitress knows a friend of a friend of a friend that has an extra room… 🙂

So after a good night sleep and some local shopping tomorrow we will find our man if he is still alive or still in America. That is the part that is bothering me, is he still here?

I will try to get an update tomorrow or the next day after we get some sleep. The food was good and sounds like we gotta run to get our room for the night. The diner also has a meat loaf special tomorrow and that sounds good…

Decided to Take a Trip to North Dakota…

*** Besides I want to finish the book before we go. I need all the information that we can get and it looks like Ben wants to read the book also. Dogg can’t read so he does not want to read the book! ***

I finished the book and so has Ben. Dogg tried to eat it but we saved the book from his titanium teeth! After we had a look downstairs and found the door to the lower levels we decided to leave things alone. It was obvious that nothing was going to get through this door. It was a huge hydraulic operated circle door in the floor of the basement. I would say without measuring it that it was about 15 feet across and 3 foot thick, of what looks to be titanium. Nothing was getting through this door. The power was disconnected and we were not going to plug it in, so to speak…

(So more on the book later! Ben is going to explain what he knows and since he is a medical doctor by profession, I thought that when he is ready I will allow him the chance to tell us what he read. He seems very disturbed by it all and does not want to talk about it right now.)

But we had discovered by the way of the Internet that one member of the team of scientist is still alive. He is located in North Dakota right near the Canadian border. Looks like he is close enough to sneak across the border if he needs too…

His name is Ralph Smiedstein and Ben and I decided after a talk, that we were going to pack and travel. We both agreed that it just felt correct to find this guy and see if we could get some first hand information. Dogg agreed, because he loves to go for a car ride…

So we made a trip to the local WalMart, gun shop, truck dealership and stocked up on new and used items…

I will not go into detail but lets say we have a used Dodge Ram Truck with a V10 488 cubic inch 8.0L engine and crew cab, with a fake bed layer to cover up our goodies and a fully equipped overhead camper shell to sleep in. We have a good array of weapons to replace all that we have lost and broke. Then we bought clothes and food. I also got Dogg a box of chew toys including new dead chickens to keep him happy. Ben got a two handed Chinese Sword because he was really impressed with how easily mine cuts fellow Zombies in half…

We found the switch to send the complex back into the ground and make it look like it was hidden. It looked like someone had plowed the land after we were through. After hiding the new home, we left on a trip, of who knows what we are really doing?

All I know is that my life will most likely never be calm and peaceful again. I seem to have taken on saving the world with my two sidekicks: A Zombie killing dog and Ben Zombie..

As we drove out of our little town, I was doing some thinking’s! If we find this guy, I am not sure what I will ask him or should I just kill him for being part of what is happening? I decided to keep my cool and get information first before killing anyone…

As we drove I noticed several Zombies. They were being killed by packs of dogs out in the country. It seems that a few Zombies had survived our town and were trying to get away to a safer place now. Like I said in the beginning when I started to write, animals are the biggest threat to a Zombie. Animals do not become Zombies and they will kill the Zombies if they get half a chance…

That is why Zombies prefer to be in cities because they can hide from man and animals in a city…

It was almost dark and the headlights were not the best at this time of the night. So I was caught off guard when a Zombie stumbled out in front of us. Then a huge bear followed him, the bear was roaring like a freight train and the Zombie was squealing like a piglet…

I jammed on the brakes and Ben and I watched the scene unfold in front of us. The Zombie was a typical graveyard Zombie risen from the dead. He was not fast by any means and the bear was in a bad mood. He caught that Zombie and smashed him flat on the road. That bear smashed him so hard that one of his arms fell off. They were both oblivious to us being in the road with our head lights on them both. The bear then grabbed the Zombie by the head and drug him off! I presume to eat later or whatever. I told Ben to remind me not to piss a bear off… 🙂

Ben said, “Predator animals find Zombie meat to be extra delicious and if it was not for this type of cleaning up Zombies there would be a whole bunch more Zombies!”

I just grunted at Ben over what he said and looked in the back seat at a sleeping Dogg. I thought that maybe that is why he likes to play with the heads of a Zombie. Kinda like a bone to chew on…

I drove off slowly looking at a twitching arm laying in the road. I remember taking a last look in the mirror and a coyote was dragging the arm off the road. Yummy treats for all…

Well we are putting to use the sim card modem that Ben bought and I am writing this article from the back seat while Ben drives. He has the best night vision and it is pitch black right now. No moon and low clouds…

It will take us about 4 days of decent driving to find the place we are going. Ben and I will take turns driving and of course Dogg will not drive. Even if he wants too. Though Ben could drive non-stop because he does not need to sleep…

But since I do, I am going to sleep a little now. Dogg is in the front seat with Ben and they have classical music playing. I think it is Bach or something like that. I like Country Music but those two don’t…

I will write more when we stop at a truck stop to eat! I am looking forward to a country fried steak, smothered in white – pepper gravy and a side of mashed potatoes to boot. But now I will sleep…

Zombie Source Code Manifestations, Creations, Evolutions and Degradations – by Zighile Comstock…

*** Then as if in answer to my inquiries, I found in one of the bedrooms a book called: Zombie Source Code Manifestations, Creations, Evolutions and Degradations – by Zighile Comstock… I started to read… ***

I read way into the night! It was not an exciting fiction book, but the horrors that lay in its pages made for reading that was necessary. I am not a scientist, but what I was reading was written by a man who was working with a bunch of brilliant men who were working for the government and they had an assignment to change humans for the better. Other words to alter us humans to be stronger, smarter and faster humans…

This book as I call it was a published scientific journal that seems to have been only available to a very small group of men on earth. Zighile Comstock in his own right is a genius and seems to have been the main leader of said experiments on humans…

Now I just said that I am no scientist, so I will try in a short entry to explain what I have just read. Remember I am just writing down things for all of you to have a record of what is really happening in the world. I am not a journalist or even a very good writer, I am just trying to have some record of Zombies to help you after I am killed. Right now it seems that I am about the only person who cares, except for Ben and Dogg…

The book has explained a lot and I had no idea about the real beginnings of Zombies. I took what I thought and expressed that before this point. I now have a different idea about what is going on and it ain’t a pretty picture…

So let me explain what I read:

Zombie Source Code Manifestations, Creations, Evolutions and Degradations – by Zighile Comstock… Seems to be a book that outlays the experiments that were carried out in the facilities that we have discovered. The men involved in these experiments are all dead or Zombies now but before this blessing occurred they had infected and mutated thousands upon thousands of people…

The facility that we have just activated is called “The Comstock Genetic Agency of OCB!” OCB is Organization (of) Central Biology. Governments love abbreviations and the whole mess is called CGA of OCB…

It seems that there is twenty floors below us in this complex and these levels of floors are where the experiments were carried out. Each level is progressively worse than the first layer. It seems that the deeper that you go the more advanced the experiments are. Until the last floor and that it seems is where the outbreak occurred. The last floor in the ground. It also seems that there is a 21st floor but the details are sketchy as to if it was being built or was built. So no details on that floor. But nevertheless it was around the 20th floor that all hell broke loose…

A Side Thought: I remember that my Grandma would tell me when I was little that, “Men who play God will suffer from Gods hands!” That is what is going through my mind right now! It also just dawned on me that what if the lower floors are still infested? Surly they would not leave a complex full of active killer Zombies of massively mutated type varieties of death, just hanging around to be let loose? Have I just activated a time bomb?

Well back to what I am writing about. It seems that Zigfield made a discovery in an old German WWI trenches that had been buried by bombs during the war. It seems that they found a corpse that was not a corpse. It was still functioning after all these years buried. They lost 10 men and those 10 men came back to life the same as the corpse they dug up. Once things got under control, Zigfield moved all he had to America, were the government was happy to fund his escapades. That is where we end up here a huge underground complex that was sealed up and a idiot named Styker (me) opened the door again…

Like I said I am not a scientist but I can tell you that they were working on 21 different types of Zombies. Each Zombie type was progressively more powerful than the first. Hence the different floors below. They wanted to keep the Zombies separated in case of an accident. It seems that every floor had it own shut down system and protection. The Zombies were in this order: 1. Zombie, 2. Crack Zombie, 3. Sticky Zombie, 4. Zombie Stupendous, 5. Zombie Mangnutus, 6. Stripe Zombie, 7. Failed Zombie, 8. Labyrinth Zombie, 9. Cave Zombie, 10. School Zombie, 11. Smash Zombie, 12. Crash Zombie, 13. Dead Zombie, 14. Zombie Ems, 15. Zombie Courageous, 16. Zombie Tremendous, 17. Super Zombie, 18. Last Zombie, 19. Awaken Zombie, 20. The Zombie of Death! 21.? The Zombie Source Code…

I am going to end this post today because I just had a thought! Looks like we need to explore the deeper levels before we get too comfortable. At least make sure everything is seal up good and sound. Something tells me that we have seen some of these Zombies and that just maybe there are a bunch more hanging around waiting to get out. I won’t be able to sleep good until we know what is going one…

Update: After talking to Ben and Dogg we decided to get a good meal and a goodnight sleep and then start exploring in a few days after a trip to the big city, let some wounds heal and to resupply weapons and such…

Besides I want to finish the book before we go. I need all the information that we can get and it looks like Ben wants to read the book also. Dogg can’t read so he does not want to read the book! 🙂

So I am going to bed again and read. Dinner was good, Ben is a great cook…

More about the book when I am done reading…

The Noise Deep in the Old Power Plant… (Part 3)

*** Something was inside the building and from what I could hear it was not happy. Dogg looked at me as I looked at Ben. I said get ready because we are going to take our home back… ***

In the rocks near the front door of the Old Power Plant, I keep  a safety lock box. It has one of my 444 Marlin Lever action rifles in it with a box of shells. I quietly opened that box and removed the rifle and shells. It also had a wicked spiked collar for Dogg and I put in on him as it will help protect his neck and last but not least I keep my emergency two handed Chinese Broad Sword. I can cut Zombies in half and down the middle with one swipe of that sword. Ben had his Samurai Sword and I went into the building first…

The first Zombie I saw was the mayor Zombie from town. He had his back to me and was watching a whole bunch of other Zombies tear our place to bits. I noticed some changes happening to the structure of said building, but that will have to wait until later…

I raised the rifle with my left arm and said, “Adios Amigo!” (I always wanted to say that!) and blew the head off the mayor as he stood there watching the destruction. That woke the Zombies up and they started to come after us. Dogg ran through the pack of Zombies and went to the back wall and there he started to bite the Achilles tendons of the Zombies and make them fall down. Then Dogg likes to chew their heads off and then after the battle is over, he can play with the heads…

Ben waded into the crowd of Zombies slashing his sword like a helicopter blade at full speed. Ben may be a sacredy cat at times but when he has to he can tear up some Zombies and I mean bad…

I unloaded my rife into three more Zombie heads and picked up my Chinese Broad Sword. Then with a war cry, I joined the Frey to put a end to this Zombie mayhem in our home. I sliced and diced Zombies until we stood as the only victors and had successfully defended our home. Once again our home was a mess. It looked as if all the Zombies from town had been there…

Dogg came over to me as I slumped to the floor and he looked like he had been bit 10 times, but he had a head in his teeth to play with so I knew he was okay. Ben sat next to me and said, “I am getting to old for this!” I just looked at him and chuckled…

Ben’s battle wounds healed quick as he is a Leader Zombie, but Dogg and I would take a while. I was not bit or scratched but since Zombies can use weapons, I was cut up pretty bad and really was loosing a lot of blood. Ben realized this and he disappeared to get some medical supplies and bandages. Dogg and I just sat there and looked around…

Then as Ben was working on our wounds. Something noticeably started to happen to the building we were in. I yelled to get out fast and we hobbled out side and hopefully to safety. I realized that this had to do with what we had started up down stairs in the basement. (Yes the generator!)

The Old Power Plant sank into the ground and then another structure came to the surface. It was much smaller but it was made out of some type of metal. It was surrounded by a metal plate as a surface all around the building. The metal plating ground was at least a hundred meters across. In the middle was a new building. To be honest it looked rather scary. All got quiet and still after all the rumbling and shifting of the earth. It was definitely like a small earthquake…

We walked gingerly to the door and as I looked at the door I realized that the walls of this building were at least 12 feet thick steel of some type. The door had a huge wheel in the middle of it and it turned very easy. As soon as the wheel was turned twice completely around. The door clicked and started to swing open. We backed away and as the door swung open, I could see it was as thick as the walls and was mechanized powered…

Then we heard a noise outside and when we ran back outside we saw a huge wall pushing up through the ground all around the whole complex. It was made of the same steel. It was obvious that this was a fortress of some type. My answer that this was a government installation was answered with these final pieces of the puzzle. Who and what made it I have no idea but we were going to find out…

We went back inside and looked around. We found a main control area, three bedrooms and several other living quarters for play and rest. There was also a kitchen. It had stairs going down and everything was spotless. No dust, Zombies or color. It was pure shiny metal everywhere. The walls inside where as thick as the walls outside. It was a fortress..

I accepted our turn of luck and accepted that we will stay here. We had the keys and possession is nine tenths of the law. This was our weird place and I was not giving it up…

I st at chair that was permanently mounted on the floor and did thinking’s. Ben went to get food as he asked for the keys to the vehicle and Dogg was outside playing with a Zombie head that he had found somewhere…

I had to do some thinking’s! I had lost everything again but what we gained my be much more important, I also am perplexed by the desire that I had to cut the chains on that generator turbine. It is as if something took me over and made me do it. It is as if this place is tied in with the rash of Zombies that we are seeing all over the place. It also seems that there is much more to this place than we have found…

Ben came back hours later as Dogg and I had found a place to sleep. Ben had to wake us up. He had food, a laptop, dog treats and lots of other stuff. He went to WalMart and said that while there was hardly anyone in town. He did not see a Zombie (Other than himself!) anywhere. It looked like they all came with the mayor to kill us…

So I am typesetting on the new laptop and he also bought a Sim modem for internet, but I found out that we had internet through a satellite system of this new home we have. Things are getting stranger and stranger as we look around the place. This was something out of a science fiction novel and I was not sure what to think at this point. I need more information…

Then as if in answer to my inquiries, I found in one of the bedrooms a book called: Zombie Source Code Manifestations, Creations, Evolutions and Degradations – by Zighile Comstock…

I started to read…

Stryker
The Zombie Source Code…

PS: Next time we talk about the beginnings of the Zombie crises that is going on right now as we read this. Zombies have been around as long as man has been around, but Zombies have always been risen from the dead. Now it seems that we have a stronger, longer lived and sometimes as intelligent Zombie, Plus we have super Zombies that have powers beyond what we comprehend. I look at Ben Zombie and realize that he is superior to me…

The Noise Deep in the Old Power Plant… (Part 2)

*** Well that is it for today, I have got to go change some bandages on Dogg and I. Also Ben said it is time to eat. So I will finish the story tomorrow or the next day… ***

Okay it has been a few days! I won’t apologize but I will tell you what happened…

Simple terms we got our “butts royally kicked” and are lucky to be here right now. Long terms, let me tell you a story in several parts…

Ending of the last post was “That is when we heard a scraping noise and Dogg let out his Zombie killing growl. I could see his titanium fangs glinting in the light…” That was actually the start of the good times and they got worse from there ever after…

We followed the scraping noise down the left tunnel, as it was obvious that we could not go back the way we came, due to the hatch being mysteriously closed on us. Dogg was sniffing the air and Ben was whining about being scared (Like a Zombie gets scared?) and I was not exactly a happy camper at the terrible noise that we seemed to be getting closer too. It was obvious that this was the noise that we could hear upstairs in the Power plant main building. It just groaned and scrapped and moaned something terrible. We started to hear another noise also and it sounded like running water…

We rounded a bend in the tunnel and came directly upon a underground stream that was flowing at a tremendous pace and we walked along the edge of this huge tunnel with a stream in its floor. Then we saw the noise, it was a huge water powered generator that was locked in place by huge rusty chains and could not move. It was groaning and moaning at the chains that held it from turning. The scraping noise was debris being torn to bits by the force of the water as smashed things against the turbine of the generator that could not move. I looked at my ceramic machete in my hands and for some reason that did not include sanity! Swung the blade as hard as I could at the chains…

The ceramic blade was damn sharp as it severed the first set of chains. Ben screamed at me as if I was a crazy fool and he grabbed Dogg and ran back the way we had come…

I cut a second chain and a third snapped on its own. Then I cut one more and the turbine spun a few feet. I was going to release this turbine and see what would happen. I just knew this was important…

There was about 5 more chains and I severed another one and with that one the force of the water took over and finished the job. The turbine swung freely and built speed like a mad hornet after you tried to smack him…

I backed up and heard groaning and moaning from the bearings of the giant turbine and then I heard the crackling and popping of electricity. Then lights all over the place came on. The place was lit up like a Christmas tree…

The turbine spun faster and faster and it started to create a wind tunnel along with the flowing water. All kinds of debris were being ground up in the blades and shrapnel was flying everywhere…

I ran for it! I had done what I wanted and now would see what would come from it. Was I stupid or not? That is my question for myself…

I got back to the place where we came in and found Dogg and Ben looking at me as if I was some crazy fool that came from another planet. Ben said, “What now?”

I looked down the right sided tunnel and pointed that way! I knew for some reason that this tunnel would lead to the other side of the generator. That I assumed would allow us to get out. The water had to exit somewhere…

I went first and Ben and Dogg stayed away from me for the time being. I really don’t blame them, I must have looked like a maniac cutting chains with a machete… 🙂

The tunnels were lit up very well and we could see all details now. There was huge power cables running along the walls and we found side doors that were all locked and would have to be looked at in the future. But right now we were in the mood to get out and see who closed the trap door on us and also to see what was happening with all this power being produced. I could just feel the whole building coming to life as we walked. The secretes of the Old Power Plant were waking up and coming out of a deep sleep. Something told me that this was no Old Power Plant in reality but an old government installation that was converted. But that is later and now to get out of this well lit dungeon…

We walked around another bend in the tunnel and came upon the river again. This time we were on the opposite side and the wind was like a tornado as it pushed us toward an unknown destination. Hopefully out…

We ended up seeing daylight and as we walked the wind died back and the water took on a slower pace. The tunnel got wider and taller! Then we stepped out into the bright sunlight as the water fell into a huge hole in the ground, lined with concrete. Never to be seen again by us…

All I could wonder was if we fell in that hole?

From the end of the tunnel we could hear the generator howling like a banshee, but the noise was contained by the distance that we were from the source. The only way out from here was up and we started to climb, back the way that we came except on top the ground this time…

We could feel the vibration of the generator even all the way on the surface. It is hard to explain but this generator is huge. I would say it was 20 meters across and must have weighed hundreds of tons of solid steel. It was the damndest thing I ever saw and I still do not know what possessed me to cut it loose. That is a good thought, “What possessed me?”

After about a half hour of walking, we came upon our Old Power Plant and walked around to the front door. The door was completely ripped off the building and if you saw the door you would realize that something really big and tough took that door off. This door was like, well nuke proof…

Something was inside the building and from what I could hear it was not happy. Dogg looked at me as I looked at Ben. I said get ready because we are going to take our home back…

Part 3 – next up…

The Noise Deep in the Old Power Plant… (Part 1)

*** Ben looked at me and said, “What was that?” I said, “That is what you, Dogg and I are going to go find out as soon as we get a good night sleep!” ***

Well Ben is back and we are happy. I never thought I would be happy about having a Zombie live with us but it seems Dogg and I are happy. We got up in the morning and Dogg reminded me that we had a noise to find! A noise deep with in the bowels of the old power plant…

Ben does not sleep and he had breakfast already for Dogg and I. Now that was treat and it looked like Ben also has been cleaning the area we live in. I guess he will be good to keep around… 🙂

Now that other Zombies can not see, hear or think what he sees or hears or thinks, life is good…

After a great breakfast of scrambled eggs and ham we got  together the weapons to go into the basement of the power plant. Ben wanted the Samurai Sword and that was it and I took my collection of ceramic machetes, the Spider Zombie was very fresh in my mind still…

Dogg grabbed his dead chicken toy and off we went… (I told him he would lose it!)

We wound down into the lower levels of the power plant and after about an hour we seemed to come to the end. It has all been explored by Dogg and I before and there just does not seem to be any lower levels. But Ben said he felt like there was. His senses which are different than a humans, are telling him that we are missing something…

The next thing I knew was that Dogg had found a soft spot in the floor. What should have been concrete was actually dirt and Dogg was digging and whining…

Ben and I looked at where Dogg was digging and helped Dogg dig. After about two feet of dirt was removed out of a square area that was 3 foot by 3 foot. We hit bottom. It felt like metal. We cleaned all the dirt out of the hole and found that we where looking at a metal door in the floor. It had a huge steel ring that was used to pull it open…

I pulled on the ring and the door did not move. But then Ben reached down and added a little help and the door came up a few inches. A stale dank odor came up from the crack that was opened and I said to get ready. I yanked as hard as I could and the door swung up and stayed open. The hinges were rusty and there was no danger of the door slamming back shut…

We peered down into the hole and all we could see was a metal ladder leading into the deep darkness. I said I forgot a flashlight and Ben said nope I brought one… 🙂

The beam from the light did very little to scare the darkness away in that hole. But I decide to descend the ladder and see what is going on at the bottom. I stated down and Dogg was really upset as he waited at the top. I got to the bottom and all I could see was a tiny white dot at the top of the ladder. I could just make out Ben’s and Dogg’s heads looking down at me. Or try to see me. I flashed the light at them to tell them I was okay…

I shined the light around and saw a switch on the wall near me. I flipped it and too my surprise lights came on. Just some lights, for many bulbs were burned out, but it made a huge difference and now I could see. I heard a noise above me and when I looked up I saw a Ben Zombie with a Dogg in one arm working his way down the ladder. Soon I was not alone anymore…

We all stared around and were discussing where to go next. Dogg seemed to think that we needed to go down a tunnel to the left. I wanted to go down the tunnel to the right and Ben decided that leaving was the best thing and started to climb the ladder. I grabbed him and said what a Zombie scared? He said. “Damn Right!”

Then at that moment a terrible rumble and moaning noise echoed through all the tunnels that we could see. Then the door at the top of the ladder slammed shut…

That just could not have happened unless someone closed it on purpose. We heard what sounded like something very heavy being pushed over top of the door. Well it sounded like we won’t get back out that way…

That is when Ben said, “We are all going to die!” I told him don’t be a doofus – Dogg and I will die, you are already dead. So no babies today and get your sword out and get ready to use it…

That is when we heard a scraping noise and Dogg let out his Zombie killing growl. I could see his titanium fangs glinting in the light…

Well that is it for today, I have got to go change some bandages on Dogg and I. Also Ben said it is time to eat. So I will finish the story tomorrow or the next day…

I am getting too old for this…

Ben Zombie Alive?

*** I got out of the Jeep and realized that I was looking straight at Ben Zombie and he was alive… ***

Well – Dogg and I gathered Ben Zombie up and got him in the Jeep somehow.  Then we headed home to the old power plant. I told Ben Zombie to hold the story of what has happened until we are safe at home…

So I will let Ben Zombie tell what he told me: Hey everyone! As you know I was suppose to have been hit and destroyed by a big truck in a suicide attempt. Well my charade worked and it seems that eveyone thought I was dead including Stryker and Dogg. That was the whole point. You see I had to figure out how to block the ability of other Zombies from seeing and hearing what I see and hear. I did not want to put Stryker and Dogg’s life in anymore danger than it is already…

So being a Leader Zombie, I changed clothes with another Zombie and told it too walk out in front of the truck. That made it look like I killed myself…

I then figured out what to do about the extrasensory connection that Zombies have…

Being a doctor I had an advantage over normal laymen and it hit me after I studied about lobotomies and such. I dissected a few Zombie brains and found a new growth, that interconnected the two spheres of the brain. I realized that this had to be the issue that I was looking to solve…

The connection was in a easy place to get to and disconnect as it was located at the very top of the brain, right under the skull cap. I experimented with two other Zombies and found that there was no changes from them after the operation except that they could no longer follow my commands by thoughts. Just by verbal command. Other words the link was broke…

So it was not a true lobotomy it was a simpler situation that I could preform on myself. Being that I do not really feel pain as normal people do. I proceeded to use a mirror and carefully severed the new growth in my head. The second that I did that I felt the presence of millions of minds leave my head and I knew that I was free…

Since we Leader Zombies heal fast, I knew that the link would try to reappear. So I put a metal plate about two inches deep between the two halves of brain to stop the growth again. It does not seem to hurt me in anyway and here I am. I guess back to Stryker…

Well I was just amazed and Dogg is so happy to see him that life just got a little bit better. I told Ben about what has been happening and about the Spyder Zombie. Ben got a worried look on his face and explained that it seems to be a fact that Zombies are mutating…

Well we carried on a long conversation, way into the night. We had a good meal and smoked some Cuban cigars that I had hidden for just such occasions. Then as sleepiness over took us.  Dogg stood up growling and that is when we heard the noise deep with the basement. The noise that Dogg and I have needed to check out. The noise rumbled and grumbled throughout the whole power plant. It felt like we could feel the rumble through the walls and floors…

Ben looked at me and said, “What was that?”

I said, “That is what you, Dogg and I are going to go find as soon as we get some good sleep!”
