Prometheus is Critical…

I stepped into Prometheus or at least what was left of her. The beam of energy had cut a path of total annihilation along its trajectory and vaporized all that was in its path. The shot had been aimed for the heart of Prometheus and it had succeeded. I felt that she was dead…

I stood in her main hallway and looked at was once the command deck and all that was left was a cord of wire still swaying from the initial shock in the gravity less environment. That is when I saw the end of the wire glow. It glowed and then went out and glowed and went out. It was flashing in a pattern. I understood that pattern, it was ancient code of the high seas on earth. It was Morse code…

It was short long, then short long short short, then short short, then short short short long and then short…

A – L – I – V – E!

Alive? Prometheus is alive. I just had to find the end of that wire and where it resided and I would find Prometheus, or what is left of her…

I grabbed the wire and followed it. I followed it through the walls of the dead ship. I peeled the walls back and inch by inch tore the ship apart and followed that wire. The wire was endless and after hours of painstaking tearing the ship apart. I found the end of the wire…

The wire ended at the stabilizer for the ungodly axe I owned. The stabilizer had a small sun embedded in it and that was the power source to keep the axe from escaping and wrecking havoc on the ship as we traveled…

This device that was constructed out of the heart of a sun, held my Prometheus within it…

I laid my hand on its surface and instantly my mind was filled with joy, Prometheus was so happy I found her. I told her to be patient and that I would figure something out. She hugged and kissed me and settled down to wait…

I took my axe and set it into its holder on the device and the hull of the ship creaked and groaned as it adjusted to the weight of a star being set upon it. The device locked as one with the axe and that was when I wondered could I move something as massive as this axe and holding device. It was equivalent in mass to at least two Neutron stars and that meant I would have to move the mass and density of a full grown black hole…

Did I have enough guts to do it?

First though I had to find where I was going to go with the device. I knew that I could use the axe handle as my focal point and from there it would be up to the nether gods and angles to help…

I walked back to the open I entered the ship at and re-looked at the wing from the massive starship that did this to Prometheus and realized that it was even with a star engine. The wing had been removed in a clean razor like perfect line and it was shaped exactly like an old flying wing that was so popular during the 1940’s WW2. It was really cool looking and then I realized that something could be made from that wing. Something that might just do the job…

I worked for days and finally got the wing near the shell of Prometheus and I took a deep breath. I was not sure that my molecular structure was up to moving and lifting a Blackhole, even if it was only a 100 meters…

It is one thing to handle and axe that was forged from a super star, that axe has a mind of its own and will do your bidding if it wants. It reminds me of Thor’s Hammer! If it did not want you to move it, then it would not move…

But now even with the axes help and the help of my god powers. I had to transport the densest and most massive abject in the universe. It was not that big in actual size it was simply the most mass. I calculated that a teaspoon of the object weighed more than 100 earths and all in a teaspoon…

I grabbed the axe handle and lifted. the mass just pulled me to it and nothing I could do would change that. I was not massive enough. I tried to change my density and it did not help. I could not match the extremeness that was obtained in the device. Then I slammed myself against the device in pure anger and even though I had bounced like a ping pong ball off a paddle. The device moved several inches…

I then got really mad and kept slamming it and slamming it. I had moved the device several feet, when I realized that I was going to beat myself to death before I moved this thing very far. It was still too big of a device against my own mass and density. It was like a flea trying to knock a mountain down. Even with no gravity, it is impossible and most likely, no gravity it is less possible…

I laid my hand on the device to talk to Prometheus and she asked me to stand aside and is it alright for her to keep my axe permanently?

I uttered, “Yes!” Then I stepped aside…

Then I saw the impossible. The device, axe and Prometheus all crumpled in upon itself and became the size of a baseball from old earth. It was perfectly round and was glowing with all the colors of the universe in a pulsating spiral pattern…

I touched the sphere and instantly Prometheus said, “There, now you are bigger than it is! My dear Stryker, I can do no more and I place my trust in you totally. I live or die in this form. For if within a few hours I do not find a new home to spread out my essence and entity. I will cease to exist. I have used all the power I have left to compress myself into the tiniest, densest, most massive and most compressed material in the universe. I need a new home and need that new home now…”

The sphere was floating right in front of my face and I wrapped my fingers around the sphere. It fit my hand as a perfect fit and I brought my other hand to grasp around the first hand. I thought about the old Superman comic that I had when just a little kid and he had to move the earth back into orbit or all will die. He stretched his limits of his powers and he moved the earth. I was impressed as a little kid and now I screamed out load, “If Superman can move the earth, then I can move this little tiny ball to that ship I have ready…”

Then with everything in my heart, soul and body. I took one step at a time, using all the powers that had been collected by me over 10,000 years and said, “Prometheus, if you die I die! We die together or we make it together!”

I took one step at a time as the decking of the ship under me crumpled and bowed. I was not able to control the mass it was so great. I realized that the old shell of a ship was being knocked farther away from my goal and I had no choice but to continue. For to stop now would mean, I may never get it moving again. I felt my armor plating cracking as I pushed against the most immovable object in the universe. I was doing more damage than it could repair itself and I felt the cold of space creeping into my damaged suit…

Just when I felt life seeping from my body and even though the body and mind had not given up. My powers were giving up. I had stretched them to the ends of the universe and they could not do more. Just at that moment, I felt a presence behind me and power surged all around me. My suit healed and a huge paw, encompassed my hands and then another paw joined it. I looked up as I continued to struggle and there was Dogg/Bear. He grinned at me and crushed my hands against the sphere. The we pushed…

The sphere moved! My God the sphere moved. I pushed harder and Dogg pushed and then Ben laid his hand on the sphere and it moved fast. Then the Old Eskimo joined us and then Woewebegone joined us…

It was still slow going and we were still weakening. Then the dead hull of Prometheus was filled with thousands of gods, angles and humans who all were saved by me and sent to heaven instead of hell as a Zombie…

Then we all felt the entity that we were fighting for and she started to push. Prometheus was using all her remaining power to help us. I screamed, “Hurry! She does not have long!” and we pushed and I felt the impossible happen. The fabric of space was actually being twisted and we moved that damn compressed black-hole to the exit of the dead ship…

Prometheus said, “Throw me! Throw me at the wing. Throw me and do not miss for in 20 seconds I will die!”

Then everyone around me was absorbed into my body and soul. I had the sphere in my right hand and I felt Bear/Dogg roar with the power of a million suns and he used my body! I felt the suit split as he grabbed the sphere in a huge paw and threw it with the power of every creature and every entity and everyone who ever I came in contact with. All the energy that had been stored up in my soul for 10,000 years was expelled at that moment…

I watched the sphere float toward the wing as I blacked out from lack of oxygen. The last thing I remember was Bear/Dogg roaring like a fright train and all became peaceful and quiet…

I woke with a happy voice ringing in my ears, “Oh Stryker – I Love You!”

That was Prometheus…

Stryker…
