Tick “Tok” Alaska – No More…

*** Talk to you in a few days and I will give more information about things that are happening. Oh and it is time to bring my friend that I talked about earlier, into this action. We need a new partner that has contacts beyond my level of expertise. He knows Russian as he was born in Russia and he is a martial art expert. He is the one that helped me when no one else would or could… ***

Well we are on the road again and Ben is driving right now! Ben say’s “Hi!” Dogg say’s “Bow Wow!”

Just get a out a map of Alaska and find highway 1 and you will find Anchorage at one end and Tok at the other. That is where you will find us for the next few days! Traveling one of the few roads in Alaska, but it leads us to where we need to go and that is all that counts…

I made a few calls and explained how all the men died and I got a lot of disbelief at the other end of the phone line. I told them to bring a clean up crew because the town is dead on arrival. Ben and I put official quarantine signs up on the town borders and from the looks of it, no one will bother things. Word spreads fast and even if the population is sparse, the gossip is thick. All other humans know that hell broke loose in Tok and they will stay away for a while. Ben, Dogg and I made sure that we burned the town down so that there would not be a chance of the Zombie Virus spreading. We drove through town and tossed some of the thousands of fire grenades into windows and such, that we had access to since we had run of the town and its National Guard supplies. No one lived to miss anything and once again we watched the flames as we drove off and I noticed in silence, that towns are burned to the ground after we leave… 🙂

Not sure what will happen if we have to kill a whole city! But if we can get to Zighile soon enough in Russia! Siberia will be a great place to have a last stand so to speak. Desolate and cold as hell. Maybe the Eskimos will have resistance to the virus like American Indians seem to have?

That seems to be the goal, a last stand at the Zombie corral in Siberia. That way we can cover this mess up once and for all. But until then we have to plan how to catch him and get my daughter back…

My friend is going to meet us in Anchorage, Alaska and he is bringing his dog, a huge Asiatic Mastiff and I mean that is one big bad dog. He is about 150lbs and 35inches tall. He has paws as big as my hand. He is trained to kill Zombies also and I look forward to having him working with my Dogg. I have yet to see if Dogg will be happy about this and remember that Dogg can shift-change. But Dogg is only a little guy normally and he weighs about 15 kilos or 35lbs…

My friend does not know about Ben yet and as my friend hates Zombies this should be interesting…

Oh as I end this today, because I am tired and going to eat a bite and sleep while Ben drives these desolate roads of Alaska, I thought I would tell you my friends name! He calls himself – Vitaly of Death! When you see him in action you will know why he calls himself that! He carries a Medieval War Sword with an overall length of 41” and he knows how to use it. I told him about the Spider Zombie and what it was able to do to regular steel and he said don’t worry that his is not regular steel…

Vitaly told me get to Anchorage and get a ship lined out and when he gets there he will tell me how he will get us into Russia. He would know, for he is Russian you know…

This is Ben Zombie: Stryker Very Sick…

*** Time to sleep and try to heal! I hurt and I mean I hurt real bad! I am getting way too old for doing this type of business. Maybe – God was on our side and a thousand men behind us, to back us up. Now I am just worrying about whether I could change to a Zombie after all the blood I was soaked it… ***

This is Ben the Zombie: I am writing this because Stryker is very sick. There is a government team of specialist coming to Tok, Alaska to see what they can do. Dogg spends all his time whimpering and I feel the same as Dogg…

After the last entry that Stryker made in the journal that you are reading he collapsed and went into a coma like state of being. I had been told to call certain numbers if something happened to him and I guess that this qualifies as something…

That triggered the government coming to check things out! I guess that Stryker is pretty important and high up in the government and it seems that he has only told people a tiny bit of what his past is with the government. I am starting to understand that things are not what they seem around Stryker. I am not saying that he lies intentionally to fool you, but I am going to say that he skirts the truth in favor of the lessor of the two evils. I am starting to see where his daughter comes into play in this whole situation…

I know from being a doctor in my past life that as bad as his injuries are, that he should have been dead before the battled ended. I look at Dogg and see genetic altercations in him also. Yes I am implying that Stryker is not all human or if he is human he is a genetically modified human. I am now wondering if he understands this prospect?

Dogg and I have come to an understanding that when the government people come we are hiding away from then. We have a bad feeling about this whole thing and we do not trust the government at all, but I have a feeling that only the government can solve what is wrong with Stryker…

I am going to keep this updated for Stryker and for you guys who are reading. I don’t want you to think we are all dead. So I am doing some thinking’s and am going to jot these thoughts down…

1. Stryker killed 60% of the 3000+ Zombies. That just ain’t human if you ask me! With what I am seeing from examining him he just may not be all human. What he is I do not know! But I hope that he does not get mad for me mentioning this…

2. Dogg changed into a Wolf or even almost classified as a werewolf. I know Dogg is a totem dog and it seems that we have a huge input of American Indian into this situation and story. Dogg is what is called a legendary shift-changer and I am not sure what else he is capable of. Dogg killed 30% of the Zombies. That means everyone else including me killed 10% of the Zombies. Couple of Bad-asses if you ask me. And once again, not human and not real animal…

3. I am worried that Stryker is infected. It is not the same as with me as when I was infected, but Stryker is not normal, as I was before infection. It is the only thing that I can put into the equation that has happened and I guess we will see as the story unfolds…

4. Stryker keeps talking about the effect that his little girl is having on him mentally. This means that a bond is shared by them and it seems to be limited by distance, except when he dreams. But this is a new occurrence and started at the Old Power Plant era…

5. I feel another Zombie in this town and I also seem to understand that we are missing a Zombie with its forearm cut off. I do not see anyway that humongous Zombie could have flown out of this town as we saw a small Cessna plane take off after all this last battle happened. I have feelings that they have gone to the nearest seaport to escape the country. Where I do not know. That leaves a killer Zombie still at loose…

6. It also is time to take the metal plate out of my head because at this point we are being hindered by my lack of communication with Zombies than we are by trying to hide from the Zombies. It seems that Stryker was correct! We have to move forward in an offensive motion as being defensive only allows then to build a bigger army. The army of the undead is not willing and nor asked to volunteer. They are recruited as fast as they come in contact with Zighile Comstock…

Well with that I hear a plane coming from the South! Looks like our guest from the government are coming and soon Dogg and I will hide to watch from a safe spot. I hate to leave Stryker alone but I think that we won’t do Stryker any good if we are all captured. Yes I do not trust the government and never will…

But I do trust Stryker and he said to call. I hope to write again…

Ben Zombie!

The Zombie Source Code…

Well it looks like I am stupid, dumb, ignorant and a plain reject…

*** So I have caught you up to date and I will get back with you in a few days! I am writing this as I sit on the hood of the half-track. We are looking at the sign that I saw in my dreams that said Tok, Alaska! By tonight I will allow Dogg to play with Zighile Comstock head. Well at least he will have it to play with after I remove it with my bare hands. Slowly and twisting as I do it… ***

Well it looks like I am stupid, dumb, ignorant and a plain reject, as I sit contemplating life after the last 24 hours. Ben is patching me up and Dogg has gone into Totem land to heal his wounds. Ben is even tore up so bad that it took him an hour to heal and that means it was bad. We just ate a huge pepperoni pizza that we made in the local Pizza Parlor (They don’t care no more!) and sipping on a two liter of diet coke…

So what happened after I was going to put Zighile Comstock’s head on a pole then let Dogg have it to play with. Good Question and I am glad you asked…

Well we rolled  into town as quiet as a half-track could and as we rumbled down the streets we noticed that we were more than a little late. The sign said that 1258 people lived in Tok, Alaska, but it looked like 1258 Leader Zombies had taken over. Plus every grave yard in the whole country side had been activated with the risen dead…

I knew that this was Zighile Comstock’s personal army of living dead and they were the distraction he needed to get out of dodge so to speak. The fact is if it was not for some good ole boys who lived near Tetlin Junction nearby we would be dead or worse. So enough bull let me tell you a tale of 3000+ Zombies and one Mega Jolly Green Giant Zombie…

Ben made mention as we pulled into town that he felt real bad about this as in real bad. I remember Ben opened the hatch and mounted the heavy gun, then locked and loaded a whole canister of those 705 grain solid points. Dogg found himself a spot to ride on Ben’s seat and was staring out the font window…

As we hit the center of town the half-track died. I mean just quit running for no damn reason. It was like God was saying something like, “You wanted to have fun, well have fun! Next time watch your thoughts about killing people!” Ben looked down at me and screamed, “Heaven help us!” I wondered at that point if he heard God also?

The zombies came out of every door, window, nook and cranny! They came out of the ground where they had been buried long ago in the yards before cemeteries. Everywhere was Zombies and they were closing in on our half-track that decided to die in the middle of hell!

The problem that was obvious right off the bat, was that the Leader Zombies had all the risen dead in front of them. Then the Leader Zombies carried shields of steel plates to try to help protect them. Then at the edge of town in the distance could be seen – Zighile Comstock, my daughter and a mutated Zombie that made Baby Zombie look like a… Well a baby in comparison…

Ben did not need to be told to start mowing down Zombies or we die. He unleashed that 50 caliber and Zombies dropped like a hot knife slicing through butter. But I knew that ammo would not last long at this pace and I screamed to Ben to watch out for the barrel turning red from heat and warping. We had two extra barrels and I grabbed the asbestus gloves and squeezed out my hatch. I knew that it was just a few minutes before that barrel gave out. I also knew that Ben would not understand and keep firing until issues happened…

I had the Ak over my shoulder and un-slung it. I let loose clip after clip in to the Zombie crowd that was getting ready to try to climb on board the half-track. You could not miss and it was literally Zombie mayhem. I saw that Ben was loosing the big gun and I grabbed a barrel and burned the hell out of my hands even through the gloves. But I got that barrel switched and Ben almost took my head off as he swung it toward me. I still am a little deaf from that overgrown gun, blasting in such close proximity…

We kept them at bay for 20 minutes or more. It seemed like 20 hours! I switched the last barrel and last canister of shells. That was it and we had gone through 5000 rounds of ammo. Ben fired until there was no more. That is when Jolly Green Giant the Mega Zombie came running at full speed. He covered the distance like in two bounds and Ben and I fell inside the half-track. The next thing we knew we were tossed like a child’s toy and landed on our side. I grabbed my Chinese Broad sword, Ben grabbed his Samuri Sword and Dogg was sharpening his teeth on a grenade (Which by the way I grabbed and put in my pocket!) and we opened the back door and rolled out…

Pure luck we were tossed away from the pack of Zombies. That gave us the 10 seconds we needed to get up and ready. I told Ben it was nice knowing you and slapped him on the back! Ben got that face of death that he had when fighting and Dogg! Well Dogg, bless his heart! Being a totem dog, he transformed in front of our eyes into the biggest and baddest looking wolf you have ever seen. He was huge and he howled one time and the sound echoed everywhere. Then as I looked at Ben and Ben at me. Dogg ran straight into the Zombie pack. Titanium teeth and all. You could see Zombies going down left and right as Dogg shredded them to pieces…

I yelled at Ben, “Dogg needs our help!” So Ben Zombie and I charged to the fry pan, like we had God on our side and a thousand men behind us, to back us up…

The battle lasted forever and it was forever. I swear that I should have died 12 times but at the last moment I found the strength to keep going. I was covered in blood and this time it was mine and theirs. I figured that my time to be a Zombie was here because I had to be infected by now. So I was going to take out Zombies and if I changed I would still take out Zombies! Just like Ben does…

I saw out the corner of my eye that Ben went down under a mass of Zombies. I was not able to help him, as I had a multitude of Zombies attacking me. Then I saw Dogg from out of nowhere leap onto the pile of Zombies on Ben and was biting heads off left and right. Dogg was drenched in blood and I could see huge gaping wounds all over him. But he fought like a soulless rabid beast that had no fear of dying. I heard his death growls of joy as he snapped neck after neck of Leader Zombies and it was because his buddy Ben was being killed. It is at these times that I am glad Dogg is on our side…

Then into the fire pan with us appeared the Mega Jolly Green Giant Zombie. Dogg was smacked aside like a stuffed animal, Ben was stomped on like an ant and I was help up in the air like rag doll…

That was when two pickup trucks full of good ole American red necks pulled up and decided to try to help stop this onslaught of killer Zombies. They had what all good rednecks have! Beer, guns and big dogs on log chins! They unhooked the dogs, guzzled a can of beer and started to shot Zombies as fast as they could pull the triggers and reload…

I was still in the Mega Zombies hand and was being shook to death. I tried to use the grenade but just succeeded in dropping it. The overgrown Zombie was not paying attention to me at all. I still had my Chinese Broad Sword in hand. That is when I swung as hard as I could at his elbow joint. It was a bad angle but beggars can not be choosey and I took my chance…

As bullets caught the Jolly Green Giant all over his body he was not expecting to have some peon try to take his arm off. Well I did and he lost an arm. As I hit the ground his forearm and hand were still attached to me and they were not going to let go. They had a mind of there own. The hand was squeezing the life out of me…

Dogg saw what was happening and came to help, but he had to stop and kill three Zombies as they tried to kill him. I could not breath as the constriction was so tight that my lungs would not pump air. I was literally suffocating…

With my last clear vision I saw the Mega Zombie bound away and then just as everything was black spots and stars. I felt the pressure let up and I heard Dogg dragging something away. Dogg had the hand and was trying to bite the fingers off of it. I want you to realize that this was a huge hand…

I passed out and awoke two hours later, but the whole time I was in la la land I was dreaming about were my daughter was being taken. I was dreaming about fighting and was dreaming about we finally won the battle. I dreamed that I lived, Dogg lived, Ben Lived and three other guys lived…

But the Tok the Alaskan town was dead, Zighile was gone and with him he took my daughter the Zombie child. It looks like his body guard the Jolly Green Giant was gone also. Dogg stood near me as I woke up. I looked around and realized that what I dreamed had happened. I woke standing with sword dragging the ground…

Dogg converted back into Dogg and fell over asleep and then became a totem pole! At least he was still here, so I assumed that he was in Totem land…

Ben told me that I never stopped fighting and it took him a few minutes to realize that I was Possessed. It seems that my daughter had Possessed me and kept me going. This was not the first time and might not be the last time…

Well I started this article with where we are at now and I have to do some thinking’s. This is getting rough and with Zighile on the loose he is converting Zombies fast than we can kill them. This could get to epidemic proportions real quick…

So we are all right! Well as all right as can be after 3000 Zombies tried to rip us in shreds. The three men that were left went home to what was left of their life and Ben and I are going to pow wow and figure out what our next step is…

That will teach me for being stupid, dumb, ignorant and a plain reject…

Time to sleep and try to heal! I hurt and I mean I hurt real bad! I am getting way too old for doing this type of business…

Maybe – God was on our side and a thousand men behind us, to back us up…

Now I am just worrying about whether I could change to a Zombie after all the blood I was soaked it…

Tok, Alaska: Zighile Comstock will meet his maker…

*** So in a few days I will post what is happening. We are going to eat when we get to a little town called Rainbow Lake, Canada. The signs say they got a cafe with good meatloaf and mashed potatoes… ***

The roads we are traveling on are really bad and we are going to tear the truck to pieces! So as I was driving the last 10 hours, I formulated a plan. The plan went into effect as we passed through a little poe dunk town as Ben was driving. I just happened to see a half track with a 4 sale sign as big as you could be! I yelled, “Stop and back up!”

A half-track is a civilian or military vehicle with regular wheels on the front for steering, and caterpillar tracks on the back to propel the vehicle and I just saw what we need to complete this journey…

After about three hours of talking to the owner and making a deal that he would never forget. Then bribing the local government with big cold hard cash! We ended up with literally a tank and Canadian tags to boot! Full tank of diesel and new supplies and weapons! The half-track had a 50 caliber machine gun that went with it. It stayed inside until needed then it had a sweet little spot to quick mount it at the hatch. We also got 5000 rounds of 705 grain ammo to go with it. Sweet, but lets hope we never need it. Man, I just love Canada…

Our speed was reduced but the time to get there would also be reduced because nothing would stop us now. Trees in the road and such would not slow us down…

We are about 50 miles from the Alaskan border and Ben and I decided to stop to talk about our plans. I also asked Ben to explain what he understood from the book that we read by Zighile Comstock!

Ben told me: After Zighile Comstock had come to America and brought with him the remains of what was found at the German WWI site. He settled in at a very extensive US sponsored base and was allowed unconditional ability to work on his project. Prisoners were used as experiments but Zighile Comstock needed a special person to make all the results mesh together. He needed a young American Indian female with type O negative RH factors in her blood. This is extremely rare in an Indian…

Zighile Comstock it seems had found a specimen for his work and the need to get her was top priority. While the book never said who the girl was, it is obvious that my daughter was the one. It had something to do with the way the Source Code virus worked with American Indians only and they needed that specific blood type…

I thought back in my mind and I knew that my daughter had that blood type exactly and she was considered an American Indian as her mother was…

So this man definable is the reason that my wife died and my child was taken from me…

Ben started to go into other stuff and I started to get mad! The more he talked the madder I got. Dogg started to whine and hid behind some things in the back of the half-track. Ben shut up and said, “Looks like I need to shut up!”

I then told Ben I was taking a walk and that he and Dogg needed to stay here. I took a walk and when I came back after an hour or so, I said, “48 miles and we hit the border! I am calling in some big favors and we are not stopping. If they do not want to help then I will crash the border and take the whole border out! By tomorrow night, I will have Zighile Comstock’s head on a pole or die trying!”

Then in my head I heard real faint and very weak, “Daddy he cuts me! Daddy he cuts me!” I was on the phone and told them to clear the border when they see a half-track coming because I am not stopping. Silence on the other end of the line persisted and then a simple “okay” was spoke. “I will get it done.” I then said, “You got 48 miles and start counting now!”

With that we piled into the half-track and I fired it up and floored it. When we reached the border there was no one in site and they had a large speed bump as you crossed the border. The half-track was air born and we took the covering off the whole complex as we passed through! I was not stopping until we reached Tok, Alaska…

So I have caught you up to date and I will get back with you in a few days! I am writing this as I sit on the hood of the half-track. We are looking at the sign that I saw in my dreams that said Tok, Alaska! By tonight I will allow Dogg to play with Zighile Comstock head. Well at least he will have it to play with after I remove it with my bare hands. Slowly and twisting as I do it…

Yes I am mad and it is time to correct the wrongs!

Ben is silent and Dogg is sleeping and once again in my head much stronger than earlier, “Daddy help me!”

First stop airport…

Talk to you later…

PS: After Zighile Comstock head is a Dogg toy, then I have a meeting with some government officials…

We Find Zighile Comstock: Part 2

*** That is when I felt the little girls mind again! She said, “Help Me Daddy!” ***

I stood up in a daze and came to my senses when Ben was shaking me and say, “Are you okay?” I finally nodded and then bolted for the truck. I jumped in and found the engine still running. Ben came running with the weapons that he just gathered up and Dogg jumped in as soon as he opened the door on his side. I yelled get in and hurry or something like that…

The words of that little girl rang in my mind and it just struck me who this kid was! I had lost my one and only child many years ago! I refused to think about it and never allowed what happened to surface in my mind. I will not go into what happened now but I will say that I know now, that this girl is my daughter. She should be in her late twenties now, but for some reason Zighile Comstock had her and she was like the day she was murdered by the government agents. Except she was an experiment and covered in scars like Frankenstein the monster. I will explain later after I catch this sick mad scientist… (I promise!)

Then I heard another faint, “Help me Daddy!” That is when we found out what kind of power that we bought in this Dodge Truck. The border was blocked by wrecked cars everywhere and I picked the most likely spot and slammed the push bar against a car’s back-end. I pulled the lever into 4X4 and crammed her into granny gear. Stood on the gas and pushed three cars in a row clean out of the way. Then I heard Dogg growl and I looked over to the left of the truck and a border guard had revived as a Zombie. Ben saw him and pulled the bolt on the AK and leaned in front of me with the barrel out the window and blew the head off the Zombie. With that I hit the gas and shoved three cars in all directions in front of us and we broke free…

I stretched the trucks legs on this wonderful highway we were on in Canada. I leveled off at around 125 mph and let her hum at that speed. Ben said. “Who is she?” I said nothing at that point. I just kept going…

Then as I neared a side road, This voice in my head told me to turn. I almost lost control as I turned but we made it and then I was told to hurry…

I saw the patrol car stopped and then I saw a small Cessna Airplane taking off! It was a small airport and I just new that we would find the owners dead or worse…

As the plane went over our heads I heard that little voice again, “Alaska – Alaska – Alaska – Alas…” Then it faded…

We found the airport as I feared. Three dead humans and then risen! They were waiting for us and it looked as if they had orders to stop us. Well after today they were not an issue and I let Dogg kill them all! He wanted a few heads to play with for awhile…

I then had a talk with Ben. I told him what was going on and that Alaska is now our destination. He listened to what I had to say and instead of saying your are plum crazy or something like that. He just said, “Lets go get the sick mad scientist!” I guess after all we have seen for months now, we would believe anything anymore…

I said time to eat, rest, restock, reload, refuel (High octane airplane fuel!) and let Dogg play with some Zombie heads, as I watched Dogg do just that and he ran by carrying a Zombie head by the ear…

Oh by the way – I can fly but someone shot holes in all the airplanes fuel tanks and engines. We would not fly from that airport…

I found a map of Canada in an office and we plotted our course to Alaska. It looked like Canada has few highways to get there and they looked small…

So that is where we are now as I write this. I am using satellite connection and uploading this so that you all know what is happening. We are driving across Canada and have ended up deep inside Canada. I get dreams at night from my daughter and she tells me were she is or at least tries to tell me. The last dream was about a sign she saw in Alaska. It said city limits – Tok, Alaska!

So in a few days I will post what is happening. We are going to eat when we get to a little town called Rainbow Lake, Canada. The signs say they got a cafe with good meatloaf and mashed potatoes… 🙂

Decided to Take a Trip to North Dakota…

*** Besides I want to finish the book before we go. I need all the information that we can get and it looks like Ben wants to read the book also. Dogg can’t read so he does not want to read the book! ***

I finished the book and so has Ben. Dogg tried to eat it but we saved the book from his titanium teeth! After we had a look downstairs and found the door to the lower levels we decided to leave things alone. It was obvious that nothing was going to get through this door. It was a huge hydraulic operated circle door in the floor of the basement. I would say without measuring it that it was about 15 feet across and 3 foot thick, of what looks to be titanium. Nothing was getting through this door. The power was disconnected and we were not going to plug it in, so to speak…

(So more on the book later! Ben is going to explain what he knows and since he is a medical doctor by profession, I thought that when he is ready I will allow him the chance to tell us what he read. He seems very disturbed by it all and does not want to talk about it right now.)

But we had discovered by the way of the Internet that one member of the team of scientist is still alive. He is located in North Dakota right near the Canadian border. Looks like he is close enough to sneak across the border if he needs too…

His name is Ralph Smiedstein and Ben and I decided after a talk, that we were going to pack and travel. We both agreed that it just felt correct to find this guy and see if we could get some first hand information. Dogg agreed, because he loves to go for a car ride…

So we made a trip to the local WalMart, gun shop, truck dealership and stocked up on new and used items…

I will not go into detail but lets say we have a used Dodge Ram Truck with a V10 488 cubic inch 8.0L engine and crew cab, with a fake bed layer to cover up our goodies and a fully equipped overhead camper shell to sleep in. We have a good array of weapons to replace all that we have lost and broke. Then we bought clothes and food. I also got Dogg a box of chew toys including new dead chickens to keep him happy. Ben got a two handed Chinese Sword because he was really impressed with how easily mine cuts fellow Zombies in half…

We found the switch to send the complex back into the ground and make it look like it was hidden. It looked like someone had plowed the land after we were through. After hiding the new home, we left on a trip, of who knows what we are really doing?

All I know is that my life will most likely never be calm and peaceful again. I seem to have taken on saving the world with my two sidekicks: A Zombie killing dog and Ben Zombie..

As we drove out of our little town, I was doing some thinking’s! If we find this guy, I am not sure what I will ask him or should I just kill him for being part of what is happening? I decided to keep my cool and get information first before killing anyone…

As we drove I noticed several Zombies. They were being killed by packs of dogs out in the country. It seems that a few Zombies had survived our town and were trying to get away to a safer place now. Like I said in the beginning when I started to write, animals are the biggest threat to a Zombie. Animals do not become Zombies and they will kill the Zombies if they get half a chance…

That is why Zombies prefer to be in cities because they can hide from man and animals in a city…

It was almost dark and the headlights were not the best at this time of the night. So I was caught off guard when a Zombie stumbled out in front of us. Then a huge bear followed him, the bear was roaring like a freight train and the Zombie was squealing like a piglet…

I jammed on the brakes and Ben and I watched the scene unfold in front of us. The Zombie was a typical graveyard Zombie risen from the dead. He was not fast by any means and the bear was in a bad mood. He caught that Zombie and smashed him flat on the road. That bear smashed him so hard that one of his arms fell off. They were both oblivious to us being in the road with our head lights on them both. The bear then grabbed the Zombie by the head and drug him off! I presume to eat later or whatever. I told Ben to remind me not to piss a bear off… 🙂

Ben said, “Predator animals find Zombie meat to be extra delicious and if it was not for this type of cleaning up Zombies there would be a whole bunch more Zombies!”

I just grunted at Ben over what he said and looked in the back seat at a sleeping Dogg. I thought that maybe that is why he likes to play with the heads of a Zombie. Kinda like a bone to chew on…

I drove off slowly looking at a twitching arm laying in the road. I remember taking a last look in the mirror and a coyote was dragging the arm off the road. Yummy treats for all…

Well we are putting to use the sim card modem that Ben bought and I am writing this article from the back seat while Ben drives. He has the best night vision and it is pitch black right now. No moon and low clouds…

It will take us about 4 days of decent driving to find the place we are going. Ben and I will take turns driving and of course Dogg will not drive. Even if he wants too. Though Ben could drive non-stop because he does not need to sleep…

But since I do, I am going to sleep a little now. Dogg is in the front seat with Ben and they have classical music playing. I think it is Bach or something like that. I like Country Music but those two don’t…

I will write more when we stop at a truck stop to eat! I am looking forward to a country fried steak, smothered in white – pepper gravy and a side of mashed potatoes to boot. But now I will sleep…

Don’t let the Zombies bite…

The Noise Deep in the Old Power Plant… (Part 3)

*** Something was inside the building and from what I could hear it was not happy. Dogg looked at me as I looked at Ben. I said get ready because we are going to take our home back… ***

In the rocks near the front door of the Old Power Plant, I keep  a safety lock box. It has one of my 444 Marlin Lever action rifles in it with a box of shells. I quietly opened that box and removed the rifle and shells. It also had a wicked spiked collar for Dogg and I put in on him as it will help protect his neck and last but not least I keep my emergency two handed Chinese Broad Sword. I can cut Zombies in half and down the middle with one swipe of that sword. Ben had his Samurai Sword and I went into the building first…

The first Zombie I saw was the mayor Zombie from town. He had his back to me and was watching a whole bunch of other Zombies tear our place to bits. I noticed some changes happening to the structure of said building, but that will have to wait until later…

I raised the rifle with my left arm and said, “Adios Amigo!” (I always wanted to say that!) and blew the head off the mayor as he stood there watching the destruction. That woke the Zombies up and they started to come after us. Dogg ran through the pack of Zombies and went to the back wall and there he started to bite the Achilles tendons of the Zombies and make them fall down. Then Dogg likes to chew their heads off and then after the battle is over, he can play with the heads…

Ben waded into the crowd of Zombies slashing his sword like a helicopter blade at full speed. Ben may be a sacredy cat at times but when he has to he can tear up some Zombies and I mean bad…

I unloaded my rife into three more Zombie heads and picked up my Chinese Broad Sword. Then with a war cry, I joined the Frey to put a end to this Zombie mayhem in our home. I sliced and diced Zombies until we stood as the only victors and had successfully defended our home. Once again our home was a mess. It looked as if all the Zombies from town had been there…

Dogg came over to me as I slumped to the floor and he looked like he had been bit 10 times, but he had a head in his teeth to play with so I knew he was okay. Ben sat next to me and said, “I am getting to old for this!” I just looked at him and chuckled…

Ben’s battle wounds healed quick as he is a Leader Zombie, but Dogg and I would take a while. I was not bit or scratched but since Zombies can use weapons, I was cut up pretty bad and really was loosing a lot of blood. Ben realized this and he disappeared to get some medical supplies and bandages. Dogg and I just sat there and looked around…

Then as Ben was working on our wounds. Something noticeably started to happen to the building we were in. I yelled to get out fast and we hobbled out side and hopefully to safety. I realized that this had to do with what we had started up down stairs in the basement. (Yes the generator!)

The Old Power Plant sank into the ground and then another structure came to the surface. It was much smaller but it was made out of some type of metal. It was surrounded by a metal plate as a surface all around the building. The metal plating ground was at least a hundred meters across. In the middle was a new building. To be honest it looked rather scary. All got quiet and still after all the rumbling and shifting of the earth. It was definitely like a small earthquake…

We walked gingerly to the door and as I looked at the door I realized that the walls of this building were at least 12 feet thick steel of some type. The door had a huge wheel in the middle of it and it turned very easy. As soon as the wheel was turned twice completely around. The door clicked and started to swing open. We backed away and as the door swung open, I could see it was as thick as the walls and was mechanized powered…

Then we heard a noise outside and when we ran back outside we saw a huge wall pushing up through the ground all around the whole complex. It was made of the same steel. It was obvious that this was a fortress of some type. My answer that this was a government installation was answered with these final pieces of the puzzle. Who and what made it I have no idea but we were going to find out…

We went back inside and looked around. We found a main control area, three bedrooms and several other living quarters for play and rest. There was also a kitchen. It had stairs going down and everything was spotless. No dust, Zombies or color. It was pure shiny metal everywhere. The walls inside where as thick as the walls outside. It was a fortress..

I accepted our turn of luck and accepted that we will stay here. We had the keys and possession is nine tenths of the law. This was our weird place and I was not giving it up…

I st at chair that was permanently mounted on the floor and did thinking’s. Ben went to get food as he asked for the keys to the vehicle and Dogg was outside playing with a Zombie head that he had found somewhere…

I had to do some thinking’s! I had lost everything again but what we gained my be much more important, I also am perplexed by the desire that I had to cut the chains on that generator turbine. It is as if something took me over and made me do it. It is as if this place is tied in with the rash of Zombies that we are seeing all over the place. It also seems that there is much more to this place than we have found…

Ben came back hours later as Dogg and I had found a place to sleep. Ben had to wake us up. He had food, a laptop, dog treats and lots of other stuff. He went to WalMart and said that while there was hardly anyone in town. He did not see a Zombie (Other than himself!) anywhere. It looked like they all came with the mayor to kill us…

So I am typesetting on the new laptop and he also bought a Sim modem for internet, but I found out that we had internet through a satellite system of this new home we have. Things are getting stranger and stranger as we look around the place. This was something out of a science fiction novel and I was not sure what to think at this point. I need more information…

Then as if in answer to my inquiries, I found in one of the bedrooms a book called: Zombie Source Code Manifestations, Creations, Evolutions and Degradations – by Zighile Comstock…

I started to read…

The Zombie Source Code…

PS: Next time we talk about the beginnings of the Zombie crises that is going on right now as we read this. Zombies have been around as long as man has been around, but Zombies have always been risen from the dead. Now it seems that we have a stronger, longer lived and sometimes as intelligent Zombie, Plus we have super Zombies that have powers beyond what we comprehend. I look at Ben Zombie and realize that he is superior to me…

The Noise Deep in the Old Power Plant… (Part 1)

*** Ben looked at me and said, “What was that?” I said, “That is what you, Dogg and I are going to go find out as soon as we get a good night sleep!” ***

Well Ben is back and we are happy. I never thought I would be happy about having a Zombie live with us but it seems Dogg and I are happy. We got up in the morning and Dogg reminded me that we had a noise to find! A noise deep with in the bowels of the old power plant…

Ben does not sleep and he had breakfast already for Dogg and I. Now that was treat and it looked like Ben also has been cleaning the area we live in. I guess he will be good to keep around… 🙂

Now that other Zombies can not see, hear or think what he sees or hears or thinks, life is good…

After a great breakfast of scrambled eggs and ham we got  together the weapons to go into the basement of the power plant. Ben wanted the Samurai Sword and that was it and I took my collection of ceramic machetes, the Spider Zombie was very fresh in my mind still…

Dogg grabbed his dead chicken toy and off we went… (I told him he would lose it!)

We wound down into the lower levels of the power plant and after about an hour we seemed to come to the end. It has all been explored by Dogg and I before and there just does not seem to be any lower levels. But Ben said he felt like there was. His senses which are different than a humans, are telling him that we are missing something…

The next thing I knew was that Dogg had found a soft spot in the floor. What should have been concrete was actually dirt and Dogg was digging and whining…

Ben and I looked at where Dogg was digging and helped Dogg dig. After about two feet of dirt was removed out of a square area that was 3 foot by 3 foot. We hit bottom. It felt like metal. We cleaned all the dirt out of the hole and found that we where looking at a metal door in the floor. It had a huge steel ring that was used to pull it open…

I pulled on the ring and the door did not move. But then Ben reached down and added a little help and the door came up a few inches. A stale dank odor came up from the crack that was opened and I said to get ready. I yanked as hard as I could and the door swung up and stayed open. The hinges were rusty and there was no danger of the door slamming back shut…

We peered down into the hole and all we could see was a metal ladder leading into the deep darkness. I said I forgot a flashlight and Ben said nope I brought one… 🙂

The beam from the light did very little to scare the darkness away in that hole. But I decide to descend the ladder and see what is going on at the bottom. I stated down and Dogg was really upset as he waited at the top. I got to the bottom and all I could see was a tiny white dot at the top of the ladder. I could just make out Ben’s and Dogg’s heads looking down at me. Or try to see me. I flashed the light at them to tell them I was okay…

I shined the light around and saw a switch on the wall near me. I flipped it and too my surprise lights came on. Just some lights, for many bulbs were burned out, but it made a huge difference and now I could see. I heard a noise above me and when I looked up I saw a Ben Zombie with a Dogg in one arm working his way down the ladder. Soon I was not alone anymore…

We all stared around and were discussing where to go next. Dogg seemed to think that we needed to go down a tunnel to the left. I wanted to go down the tunnel to the right and Ben decided that leaving was the best thing and started to climb the ladder. I grabbed him and said what a Zombie scared? He said. “Damn Right!”

Then at that moment a terrible rumble and moaning noise echoed through all the tunnels that we could see. Then the door at the top of the ladder slammed shut…

That just could not have happened unless someone closed it on purpose. We heard what sounded like something very heavy being pushed over top of the door. Well it sounded like we won’t get back out that way…

That is when Ben said, “We are all going to die!” I told him don’t be a doofus – Dogg and I will die, you are already dead. So no babies today and get your sword out and get ready to use it…

That is when we heard a scraping noise and Dogg let out his Zombie killing growl. I could see his titanium fangs glinting in the light…

Well that is it for today, I have got to go change some bandages on Dogg and I. Also Ben said it is time to eat. So I will finish the story tomorrow or the next day…

I am getting too old for this…

Ben Zombie Alive?

*** I got out of the Jeep and realized that I was looking straight at Ben Zombie and he was alive… ***

Well – Dogg and I gathered Ben Zombie up and got him in the Jeep somehow.  Then we headed home to the old power plant. I told Ben Zombie to hold the story of what has happened until we are safe at home…

So I will let Ben Zombie tell what he told me: Hey everyone! As you know I was suppose to have been hit and destroyed by a big truck in a suicide attempt. Well my charade worked and it seems that eveyone thought I was dead including Stryker and Dogg. That was the whole point. You see I had to figure out how to block the ability of other Zombies from seeing and hearing what I see and hear. I did not want to put Stryker and Dogg’s life in anymore danger than it is already…

So being a Leader Zombie, I changed clothes with another Zombie and told it too walk out in front of the truck. That made it look like I killed myself…

I then figured out what to do about the extrasensory connection that Zombies have…

Being a doctor I had an advantage over normal laymen and it hit me after I studied about lobotomies and such. I dissected a few Zombie brains and found a new growth, that interconnected the two spheres of the brain. I realized that this had to be the issue that I was looking to solve…

The connection was in a easy place to get to and disconnect as it was located at the very top of the brain, right under the skull cap. I experimented with two other Zombies and found that there was no changes from them after the operation except that they could no longer follow my commands by thoughts. Just by verbal command. Other words the link was broke…

So it was not a true lobotomy it was a simpler situation that I could preform on myself. Being that I do not really feel pain as normal people do. I proceeded to use a mirror and carefully severed the new growth in my head. The second that I did that I felt the presence of millions of minds leave my head and I knew that I was free…

Since we Leader Zombies heal fast, I knew that the link would try to reappear. So I put a metal plate about two inches deep between the two halves of brain to stop the growth again. It does not seem to hurt me in anyway and here I am. I guess back to Stryker…

Well I was just amazed and Dogg is so happy to see him that life just got a little bit better. I told Ben about what has been happening and about the Spyder Zombie. Ben got a worried look on his face and explained that it seems to be a fact that Zombies are mutating…

Well we carried on a long conversation, way into the night. We had a good meal and smoked some Cuban cigars that I had hidden for just such occasions. Then as sleepiness over took us.  Dogg stood up growling and that is when we heard the noise deep with the basement. The noise that Dogg and I have needed to check out. The noise rumbled and grumbled throughout the whole power plant. It felt like we could feel the rumble through the walls and floors…

Ben looked at me and said, “What was that?”

I said, “That is what you, Dogg and I are going to go find as soon as we get some good sleep!”

The Little Town of Zombies…

*** Dogg came over to me where I had just sat down on the ground and licked my face as if to say, “Good Daddy!” ***

Dogg and I decided to take a trip to the little town we live near. We are running out of supplies and other things. So we decided to go pick up somethings at the local Walmart…

We hopped into our new 4×4 Jeep and tooled on into to town, after we checked out our grounds for Zombies. After seeing that the fence was solid and no Zombies hanging out, where they are not wanted. We left for town…

Dogg loves to ride and he hangs his head out the window with his tong flapping in the wind. It is hilarious, but you do not want to be behind him, because you will have a face full of slobber… 🙂

The first thing we noticed as we entered town, was the fact that it was very quiet just too quiet!

It has been 3 weeks since we needed to leave the Old Power Plant and the workers have been long gone from doing their work on the plant. So we were kinda surprised when we saw that the town was very creepy feeling…

We stopped at the local A&P store to get food. It was empty except for about 5 employees and they were personified Zombies. Four of them were stupid regular Zombies and the 5th at the cash register was a leader Zombie. As I have said, Leader Zombies are almost like normal humans and they are usually in charge of several other Zombies. They all acted scared to see Dogg and I. They shuffled as far away as possible to the back of the store. With the exception of the cashier. The cashier Zombie got on the phone as soon as we walked down an aisle to get food. I could hear the panic in its voice as it contacted someone…

We filled up a cart to the brim and higher with food. I was not sure when I would be back because this town looked seriously bad about now…

I was fully armed and I knew from all the Zombie killings that was happening around me, that Zombies would be very leery of me, especially during the day time. But if enough got together, then Dogg and I would be in trouble…

As I was getting food another customer came into the store. It was an old lady and she was not a Zombie. But she paid no attention to anyone around her and got what she wanted and paid and left. Totally oblivious to anything…

I took the cart to the cashier and the cashier recoiled as he tossed a bunch of sacks on my cart and said, “Please go! We don’t want your money!” That is when I heard the bell on the front door behind me tinkle as someone else came into the store. Dogg growled and I stayed with my backed turned to who ever it was. I said, “If Dogg don’t like you, then I don’t like you! You come closer I will kill you!” Silence followed…

Then I heard someone clear their throat after a few minutes and they said, “I am the mayor of this town and I just came to greet you personally! We do not want any trouble and as you see you have scared my people to death (So to speak!) by coming in here!” The silence re-enveloped the store…

I thanked the cashier and asked for one more bag. He gave me 10 more… 🙂

I then turned and looked at the mayor…

He was as perfect of a Zombie as they come to being, it was almost impossible to tell that he was a Zombie. He looked human except he had makeup on to cover the pale blue look that Zombies get. He was dressed impeccably and was spotless. He had on a thousand dollar suit and I laughed at the thought that Zombies can have taste in clothes and such. Why he had on alligator skin shoes and a carnation sticking out of his suit lapel…

He made the mistake of looking at the cashier and that is when I spun with my machete and took the cashiers head off. The revolver clanked to the floor as the body slid slowly to the ground. The head was moving its mouth as Dogg grabbed it and ran outside to play…

I then turned to a wide eyed mayor and said, “My name is Stryker and that is Dogg!”

Typical politician, the mayor was. He said something like, “I had nothing to do with that!” As he ran out the door…

The other Zombies in the back shuffled into the back room out of my site. I then grabbed another cart, then another cart and filled them up with food also. I had a big freezer and refrigerator at the old power plant. I decided to fill them up…

I hauled as much food as I could get into the Jeep and still let Dogg and I ride home also. Dogg would have to sit on my lap. As Dogg and I finished up we saw the mayor again and he had about 20 Zombies with him. But they were not very sure about what to do…

I took the Zombie head from Dogg and kicked it at the new group of Zombies. That seemed to make up their minds, that maybe I need some alone time and was a little grouchy…

Dogg ran after the Zombie head and the staring Zombies ran like rabbits and squirrels being hunted. Dogg liked that and he barked happily. I knew that come night, they would be a lot braver and would most likely visit the old power plant…

Then I got this chill up and down my spine. I looked around and noticed Zombie eyes staring out of all the windows and door ways in the town. I called Dogg and we got out of there, lickity split…

Looks like Walmart is another day…

On the way back to the old power plant, I was doing some serious thinking’s. That is when I almost hit someone in the road. Dogg started barking as if to tell me watch out and I slammed on the brakes! Dogg jumped out and ran to who ever it was. Barking crazily…

I got out of the Jeep and realized that I was looking straight at Ben Zombie and he was alive…
