The Noise Deep in the Old Power Plant… (Part 3)

*** Something was inside the building and from what I could hear it was not happy. Dogg looked at me as I looked at Ben. I said get ready because we are going to take our home back… ***

In the rocks near the front door of the Old Power Plant, I keep  a safety lock box. It has one of my 444 Marlin Lever action rifles in it with a box of shells. I quietly opened that box and removed the rifle and shells. It also had a wicked spiked collar for Dogg and I put in on him as it will help protect his neck and last but not least I keep my emergency two handed Chinese Broad Sword. I can cut Zombies in half and down the middle with one swipe of that sword. Ben had his Samurai Sword and I went into the building first…

The first Zombie I saw was the mayor Zombie from town. He had his back to me and was watching a whole bunch of other Zombies tear our place to bits. I noticed some changes happening to the structure of said building, but that will have to wait until later…

I raised the rifle with my left arm and said, “Adios Amigo!” (I always wanted to say that!) and blew the head off the mayor as he stood there watching the destruction. That woke the Zombies up and they started to come after us. Dogg ran through the pack of Zombies and went to the back wall and there he started to bite the Achilles tendons of the Zombies and make them fall down. Then Dogg likes to chew their heads off and then after the battle is over, he can play with the heads…

Ben waded into the crowd of Zombies slashing his sword like a helicopter blade at full speed. Ben may be a sacredy cat at times but when he has to he can tear up some Zombies and I mean bad…

I unloaded my rife into three more Zombie heads and picked up my Chinese Broad Sword. Then with a war cry, I joined the Frey to put a end to this Zombie mayhem in our home. I sliced and diced Zombies until we stood as the only victors and had successfully defended our home. Once again our home was a mess. It looked as if all the Zombies from town had been there…

Dogg came over to me as I slumped to the floor and he looked like he had been bit 10 times, but he had a head in his teeth to play with so I knew he was okay. Ben sat next to me and said, “I am getting to old for this!” I just looked at him and chuckled…

Ben’s battle wounds healed quick as he is a Leader Zombie, but Dogg and I would take a while. I was not bit or scratched but since Zombies can use weapons, I was cut up pretty bad and really was loosing a lot of blood. Ben realized this and he disappeared to get some medical supplies and bandages. Dogg and I just sat there and looked around…

Then as Ben was working on our wounds. Something noticeably started to happen to the building we were in. I yelled to get out fast and we hobbled out side and hopefully to safety. I realized that this had to do with what we had started up down stairs in the basement. (Yes the generator!)

The Old Power Plant sank into the ground and then another structure came to the surface. It was much smaller but it was made out of some type of metal. It was surrounded by a metal plate as a surface all around the building. The metal plating ground was at least a hundred meters across. In the middle was a new building. To be honest it looked rather scary. All got quiet and still after all the rumbling and shifting of the earth. It was definitely like a small earthquake…

We walked gingerly to the door and as I looked at the door I realized that the walls of this building were at least 12 feet thick steel of some type. The door had a huge wheel in the middle of it and it turned very easy. As soon as the wheel was turned twice completely around. The door clicked and started to swing open. We backed away and as the door swung open, I could see it was as thick as the walls and was mechanized powered…

Then we heard a noise outside and when we ran back outside we saw a huge wall pushing up through the ground all around the whole complex. It was made of the same steel. It was obvious that this was a fortress of some type. My answer that this was a government installation was answered with these final pieces of the puzzle. Who and what made it I have no idea but we were going to find out…

We went back inside and looked around. We found a main control area, three bedrooms and several other living quarters for play and rest. There was also a kitchen. It had stairs going down and everything was spotless. No dust, Zombies or color. It was pure shiny metal everywhere. The walls inside where as thick as the walls outside. It was a fortress..

I accepted our turn of luck and accepted that we will stay here. We had the keys and possession is nine tenths of the law. This was our weird place and I was not giving it up…

I st at chair that was permanently mounted on the floor and did thinking’s. Ben went to get food as he asked for the keys to the vehicle and Dogg was outside playing with a Zombie head that he had found somewhere…

I had to do some thinking’s! I had lost everything again but what we gained my be much more important, I also am perplexed by the desire that I had to cut the chains on that generator turbine. It is as if something took me over and made me do it. It is as if this place is tied in with the rash of Zombies that we are seeing all over the place. It also seems that there is much more to this place than we have found…

Ben came back hours later as Dogg and I had found a place to sleep. Ben had to wake us up. He had food, a laptop, dog treats and lots of other stuff. He went to WalMart and said that while there was hardly anyone in town. He did not see a Zombie (Other than himself!) anywhere. It looked like they all came with the mayor to kill us…

So I am typesetting on the new laptop and he also bought a Sim modem for internet, but I found out that we had internet through a satellite system of this new home we have. Things are getting stranger and stranger as we look around the place. This was something out of a science fiction novel and I was not sure what to think at this point. I need more information…

Then as if in answer to my inquiries, I found in one of the bedrooms a book called: Zombie Source Code Manifestations, Creations, Evolutions and Degradations – by Zighile Comstock…

I started to read…

The Zombie Source Code…

PS: Next time we talk about the beginnings of the Zombie crises that is going on right now as we read this. Zombies have been around as long as man has been around, but Zombies have always been risen from the dead. Now it seems that we have a stronger, longer lived and sometimes as intelligent Zombie, Plus we have super Zombies that have powers beyond what we comprehend. I look at Ben Zombie and realize that he is superior to me…

The Noise Deep in the Old Power Plant… (Part 2)

*** Well that is it for today, I have got to go change some bandages on Dogg and I. Also Ben said it is time to eat. So I will finish the story tomorrow or the next day… ***

Okay it has been a few days! I won’t apologize but I will tell you what happened…

Simple terms we got our “butts royally kicked” and are lucky to be here right now. Long terms, let me tell you a story in several parts…

Ending of the last post was “That is when we heard a scraping noise and Dogg let out his Zombie killing growl. I could see his titanium fangs glinting in the light…” That was actually the start of the good times and they got worse from there ever after…

We followed the scraping noise down the left tunnel, as it was obvious that we could not go back the way we came, due to the hatch being mysteriously closed on us. Dogg was sniffing the air and Ben was whining about being scared (Like a Zombie gets scared?) and I was not exactly a happy camper at the terrible noise that we seemed to be getting closer too. It was obvious that this was the noise that we could hear upstairs in the Power plant main building. It just groaned and scrapped and moaned something terrible. We started to hear another noise also and it sounded like running water…

We rounded a bend in the tunnel and came directly upon a underground stream that was flowing at a tremendous pace and we walked along the edge of this huge tunnel with a stream in its floor. Then we saw the noise, it was a huge water powered generator that was locked in place by huge rusty chains and could not move. It was groaning and moaning at the chains that held it from turning. The scraping noise was debris being torn to bits by the force of the water as smashed things against the turbine of the generator that could not move. I looked at my ceramic machete in my hands and for some reason that did not include sanity! Swung the blade as hard as I could at the chains…

The ceramic blade was damn sharp as it severed the first set of chains. Ben screamed at me as if I was a crazy fool and he grabbed Dogg and ran back the way we had come…

I cut a second chain and a third snapped on its own. Then I cut one more and the turbine spun a few feet. I was going to release this turbine and see what would happen. I just knew this was important…

There was about 5 more chains and I severed another one and with that one the force of the water took over and finished the job. The turbine swung freely and built speed like a mad hornet after you tried to smack him…

I backed up and heard groaning and moaning from the bearings of the giant turbine and then I heard the crackling and popping of electricity. Then lights all over the place came on. The place was lit up like a Christmas tree…

The turbine spun faster and faster and it started to create a wind tunnel along with the flowing water. All kinds of debris were being ground up in the blades and shrapnel was flying everywhere…

I ran for it! I had done what I wanted and now would see what would come from it. Was I stupid or not? That is my question for myself…

I got back to the place where we came in and found Dogg and Ben looking at me as if I was some crazy fool that came from another planet. Ben said, “What now?”

I looked down the right sided tunnel and pointed that way! I knew for some reason that this tunnel would lead to the other side of the generator. That I assumed would allow us to get out. The water had to exit somewhere…

I went first and Ben and Dogg stayed away from me for the time being. I really don’t blame them, I must have looked like a maniac cutting chains with a machete… 🙂

The tunnels were lit up very well and we could see all details now. There was huge power cables running along the walls and we found side doors that were all locked and would have to be looked at in the future. But right now we were in the mood to get out and see who closed the trap door on us and also to see what was happening with all this power being produced. I could just feel the whole building coming to life as we walked. The secretes of the Old Power Plant were waking up and coming out of a deep sleep. Something told me that this was no Old Power Plant in reality but an old government installation that was converted. But that is later and now to get out of this well lit dungeon…

We walked around another bend in the tunnel and came upon the river again. This time we were on the opposite side and the wind was like a tornado as it pushed us toward an unknown destination. Hopefully out…

We ended up seeing daylight and as we walked the wind died back and the water took on a slower pace. The tunnel got wider and taller! Then we stepped out into the bright sunlight as the water fell into a huge hole in the ground, lined with concrete. Never to be seen again by us…

All I could wonder was if we fell in that hole?

From the end of the tunnel we could hear the generator howling like a banshee, but the noise was contained by the distance that we were from the source. The only way out from here was up and we started to climb, back the way that we came except on top the ground this time…

We could feel the vibration of the generator even all the way on the surface. It is hard to explain but this generator is huge. I would say it was 20 meters across and must have weighed hundreds of tons of solid steel. It was the damndest thing I ever saw and I still do not know what possessed me to cut it loose. That is a good thought, “What possessed me?”

After about a half hour of walking, we came upon our Old Power Plant and walked around to the front door. The door was completely ripped off the building and if you saw the door you would realize that something really big and tough took that door off. This door was like, well nuke proof…

Something was inside the building and from what I could hear it was not happy. Dogg looked at me as I looked at Ben. I said get ready because we are going to take our home back…

Part 3 – next up…

The Noise Deep in the Old Power Plant… (Part 1)

*** Ben looked at me and said, “What was that?” I said, “That is what you, Dogg and I are going to go find out as soon as we get a good night sleep!” ***

Well Ben is back and we are happy. I never thought I would be happy about having a Zombie live with us but it seems Dogg and I are happy. We got up in the morning and Dogg reminded me that we had a noise to find! A noise deep with in the bowels of the old power plant…

Ben does not sleep and he had breakfast already for Dogg and I. Now that was treat and it looked like Ben also has been cleaning the area we live in. I guess he will be good to keep around… 🙂

Now that other Zombies can not see, hear or think what he sees or hears or thinks, life is good…

After a great breakfast of scrambled eggs and ham we got  together the weapons to go into the basement of the power plant. Ben wanted the Samurai Sword and that was it and I took my collection of ceramic machetes, the Spider Zombie was very fresh in my mind still…

Dogg grabbed his dead chicken toy and off we went… (I told him he would lose it!)

We wound down into the lower levels of the power plant and after about an hour we seemed to come to the end. It has all been explored by Dogg and I before and there just does not seem to be any lower levels. But Ben said he felt like there was. His senses which are different than a humans, are telling him that we are missing something…

The next thing I knew was that Dogg had found a soft spot in the floor. What should have been concrete was actually dirt and Dogg was digging and whining…

Ben and I looked at where Dogg was digging and helped Dogg dig. After about two feet of dirt was removed out of a square area that was 3 foot by 3 foot. We hit bottom. It felt like metal. We cleaned all the dirt out of the hole and found that we where looking at a metal door in the floor. It had a huge steel ring that was used to pull it open…

I pulled on the ring and the door did not move. But then Ben reached down and added a little help and the door came up a few inches. A stale dank odor came up from the crack that was opened and I said to get ready. I yanked as hard as I could and the door swung up and stayed open. The hinges were rusty and there was no danger of the door slamming back shut…

We peered down into the hole and all we could see was a metal ladder leading into the deep darkness. I said I forgot a flashlight and Ben said nope I brought one… 🙂

The beam from the light did very little to scare the darkness away in that hole. But I decide to descend the ladder and see what is going on at the bottom. I stated down and Dogg was really upset as he waited at the top. I got to the bottom and all I could see was a tiny white dot at the top of the ladder. I could just make out Ben’s and Dogg’s heads looking down at me. Or try to see me. I flashed the light at them to tell them I was okay…

I shined the light around and saw a switch on the wall near me. I flipped it and too my surprise lights came on. Just some lights, for many bulbs were burned out, but it made a huge difference and now I could see. I heard a noise above me and when I looked up I saw a Ben Zombie with a Dogg in one arm working his way down the ladder. Soon I was not alone anymore…

We all stared around and were discussing where to go next. Dogg seemed to think that we needed to go down a tunnel to the left. I wanted to go down the tunnel to the right and Ben decided that leaving was the best thing and started to climb the ladder. I grabbed him and said what a Zombie scared? He said. “Damn Right!”

Then at that moment a terrible rumble and moaning noise echoed through all the tunnels that we could see. Then the door at the top of the ladder slammed shut…

That just could not have happened unless someone closed it on purpose. We heard what sounded like something very heavy being pushed over top of the door. Well it sounded like we won’t get back out that way…

That is when Ben said, “We are all going to die!” I told him don’t be a doofus – Dogg and I will die, you are already dead. So no babies today and get your sword out and get ready to use it…

That is when we heard a scraping noise and Dogg let out his Zombie killing growl. I could see his titanium fangs glinting in the light…

Well that is it for today, I have got to go change some bandages on Dogg and I. Also Ben said it is time to eat. So I will finish the story tomorrow or the next day…

I am getting too old for this…

Ben Zombie Alive?

*** I got out of the Jeep and realized that I was looking straight at Ben Zombie and he was alive… ***

Well – Dogg and I gathered Ben Zombie up and got him in the Jeep somehow.  Then we headed home to the old power plant. I told Ben Zombie to hold the story of what has happened until we are safe at home…

So I will let Ben Zombie tell what he told me: Hey everyone! As you know I was suppose to have been hit and destroyed by a big truck in a suicide attempt. Well my charade worked and it seems that eveyone thought I was dead including Stryker and Dogg. That was the whole point. You see I had to figure out how to block the ability of other Zombies from seeing and hearing what I see and hear. I did not want to put Stryker and Dogg’s life in anymore danger than it is already…

So being a Leader Zombie, I changed clothes with another Zombie and told it too walk out in front of the truck. That made it look like I killed myself…

I then figured out what to do about the extrasensory connection that Zombies have…

Being a doctor I had an advantage over normal laymen and it hit me after I studied about lobotomies and such. I dissected a few Zombie brains and found a new growth, that interconnected the two spheres of the brain. I realized that this had to be the issue that I was looking to solve…

The connection was in a easy place to get to and disconnect as it was located at the very top of the brain, right under the skull cap. I experimented with two other Zombies and found that there was no changes from them after the operation except that they could no longer follow my commands by thoughts. Just by verbal command. Other words the link was broke…

So it was not a true lobotomy it was a simpler situation that I could preform on myself. Being that I do not really feel pain as normal people do. I proceeded to use a mirror and carefully severed the new growth in my head. The second that I did that I felt the presence of millions of minds leave my head and I knew that I was free…

Since we Leader Zombies heal fast, I knew that the link would try to reappear. So I put a metal plate about two inches deep between the two halves of brain to stop the growth again. It does not seem to hurt me in anyway and here I am. I guess back to Stryker…

Well I was just amazed and Dogg is so happy to see him that life just got a little bit better. I told Ben about what has been happening and about the Spyder Zombie. Ben got a worried look on his face and explained that it seems to be a fact that Zombies are mutating…

Well we carried on a long conversation, way into the night. We had a good meal and smoked some Cuban cigars that I had hidden for just such occasions. Then as sleepiness over took us.  Dogg stood up growling and that is when we heard the noise deep with the basement. The noise that Dogg and I have needed to check out. The noise rumbled and grumbled throughout the whole power plant. It felt like we could feel the rumble through the walls and floors…

Ben looked at me and said, “What was that?”

I said, “That is what you, Dogg and I are going to go find as soon as we get some good sleep!”

The Little Town of Zombies…

*** Dogg came over to me where I had just sat down on the ground and licked my face as if to say, “Good Daddy!” ***

Dogg and I decided to take a trip to the little town we live near. We are running out of supplies and other things. So we decided to go pick up somethings at the local Walmart…

We hopped into our new 4×4 Jeep and tooled on into to town, after we checked out our grounds for Zombies. After seeing that the fence was solid and no Zombies hanging out, where they are not wanted. We left for town…

Dogg loves to ride and he hangs his head out the window with his tong flapping in the wind. It is hilarious, but you do not want to be behind him, because you will have a face full of slobber… 🙂

The first thing we noticed as we entered town, was the fact that it was very quiet just too quiet!

It has been 3 weeks since we needed to leave the Old Power Plant and the workers have been long gone from doing their work on the plant. So we were kinda surprised when we saw that the town was very creepy feeling…

We stopped at the local A&P store to get food. It was empty except for about 5 employees and they were personified Zombies. Four of them were stupid regular Zombies and the 5th at the cash register was a leader Zombie. As I have said, Leader Zombies are almost like normal humans and they are usually in charge of several other Zombies. They all acted scared to see Dogg and I. They shuffled as far away as possible to the back of the store. With the exception of the cashier. The cashier Zombie got on the phone as soon as we walked down an aisle to get food. I could hear the panic in its voice as it contacted someone…

We filled up a cart to the brim and higher with food. I was not sure when I would be back because this town looked seriously bad about now…

I was fully armed and I knew from all the Zombie killings that was happening around me, that Zombies would be very leery of me, especially during the day time. But if enough got together, then Dogg and I would be in trouble…

As I was getting food another customer came into the store. It was an old lady and she was not a Zombie. But she paid no attention to anyone around her and got what she wanted and paid and left. Totally oblivious to anything…

I took the cart to the cashier and the cashier recoiled as he tossed a bunch of sacks on my cart and said, “Please go! We don’t want your money!” That is when I heard the bell on the front door behind me tinkle as someone else came into the store. Dogg growled and I stayed with my backed turned to who ever it was. I said, “If Dogg don’t like you, then I don’t like you! You come closer I will kill you!” Silence followed…

Then I heard someone clear their throat after a few minutes and they said, “I am the mayor of this town and I just came to greet you personally! We do not want any trouble and as you see you have scared my people to death (So to speak!) by coming in here!” The silence re-enveloped the store…

I thanked the cashier and asked for one more bag. He gave me 10 more… 🙂

I then turned and looked at the mayor…

He was as perfect of a Zombie as they come to being, it was almost impossible to tell that he was a Zombie. He looked human except he had makeup on to cover the pale blue look that Zombies get. He was dressed impeccably and was spotless. He had on a thousand dollar suit and I laughed at the thought that Zombies can have taste in clothes and such. Why he had on alligator skin shoes and a carnation sticking out of his suit lapel…

He made the mistake of looking at the cashier and that is when I spun with my machete and took the cashiers head off. The revolver clanked to the floor as the body slid slowly to the ground. The head was moving its mouth as Dogg grabbed it and ran outside to play…

I then turned to a wide eyed mayor and said, “My name is Stryker and that is Dogg!”

Typical politician, the mayor was. He said something like, “I had nothing to do with that!” As he ran out the door…

The other Zombies in the back shuffled into the back room out of my site. I then grabbed another cart, then another cart and filled them up with food also. I had a big freezer and refrigerator at the old power plant. I decided to fill them up…

I hauled as much food as I could get into the Jeep and still let Dogg and I ride home also. Dogg would have to sit on my lap. As Dogg and I finished up we saw the mayor again and he had about 20 Zombies with him. But they were not very sure about what to do…

I took the Zombie head from Dogg and kicked it at the new group of Zombies. That seemed to make up their minds, that maybe I need some alone time and was a little grouchy…

Dogg ran after the Zombie head and the staring Zombies ran like rabbits and squirrels being hunted. Dogg liked that and he barked happily. I knew that come night, they would be a lot braver and would most likely visit the old power plant…

Then I got this chill up and down my spine. I looked around and noticed Zombie eyes staring out of all the windows and door ways in the town. I called Dogg and we got out of there, lickity split…

Looks like Walmart is another day…

On the way back to the old power plant, I was doing some serious thinking’s. That is when I almost hit someone in the road. Dogg started barking as if to tell me watch out and I slammed on the brakes! Dogg jumped out and ran to who ever it was. Barking crazily…

I got out of the Jeep and realized that I was looking straight at Ben Zombie and he was alive…

Zombies are getting Badder and Tougher all the Time…

*** So we are caught up to date and I will try to do a better job keeping things updated. I will say that Dogg and I see a lot of signs of Zombies out about the town and I am suspecting that the new mayor of our city is a Leader Zombie and if he is then that could be a real issue… ***

Originally when I started to write down things about Zombies. I was going to make a book, but then I realize that I am so busy killing Zombies that I am just going to write down things when I can and create a diary of a sorts…

You have to understand that everything that I write is what is really happening to me and we are not in some future or in some past time. We are in the present day time. Zombies are all around us and if you are not careful you will be a Zombie also. Then, I may have to eradicate you too… 🙂

So while I will try to keep an order to the story. I do not guarantee that anymore. I will just say that Life is chaotic and a life with Zombies is very chaotic…

So lets talk today about a walk that Dogg and I took:

Dogg and I took a walk last week. We decided that we would scout about and see what this lonely old power plant neighborhood would bring for excitement. We had been cooped up a long time and had not strolled around much since the time that we were almost killed by the Spider Zombie. I was also still upset about the death of Ben Zombie, because I still feel that he and I could have been a good team. Dogg and I walked to clear our thoughts and most of all, to allow us to get ourselves together. Other words be one with the world again…

We were walking around the back 40, as I call it of the power plant. The backside of the power planet has about 40 acres. So I call it the back 40. We were walking deep in thought or at least I was. Dogg was chasing a squirrel and trying to catch a rabbit at the same time. Dogg was just having fun. Because he would never hurt any tiny creature…

Everything was cool, until we heard a noise near the back fence line ahead of our position. Dogg went on point and I heard his Zombie sighting growl, that he gives when he sees a Zombie. I looked were he was looking and saw a horrific sight. Staring at me and Dogg was a Zombie that had to have been 10 foot tall and as broad as a double door way and had muscles corded all over any of his body that I could see, not covered up by clothes…

I took off my long trench coat after I pulled out the 444 Marlin lever action that I had hidden inside and also pulled out my new ceramic blade machete and stood waiting to see what he was going to do. Then he jumped at Dogg and I – like a fiend from hell…

He moved so fast that I could not aim, so I simply shot all 4 rounds of 300 grain 444’s into his body as fast as I could and then as he landed in front of me. I reversed the rifle and broke it over his head. Then I grabbed the machete and rolled away way away from this huge creature. While he was not as huge as Baby Zombie he was 5 times faster and just as strong…

The four rounds of 444 Marlin square in the middle of his chest, seemed to have not affected him at all…

I stood up quickly with my machete in hand and was ready for his attack. He looked at me and started to turn my way. That is when Dogg attacked! You will not believe this but Dogg leaped 10 foot in the air and bit the Zombie in the face. The Zombie smacked Dogg across the field that we were in and I watched as Dogg rolled, then he got up growling. Dogg was mad…

I looked back at the Zombie and realized that Dogg had taken his left eye out. That would help and now I saw a weakness to help attack the Zombie. I motioned for Dogg to attack again. Then as Dogg attacked, I ran toward the Zombie. The Zombie was caught in opposing attacks…

Dogg saw what I was doing and he ran between the Zombies legs to confuse the Zombie. The Zombie reached for Dogg and that is when I appeared. I chopped with the machete with all my might and embedded it deep into the Zombies shoulder. It was the sharpest machete that I have ever had, but it felt like I was cutting stone…

I could not pull the machete out and he stood up full height and the handle came out of my hand. He was damn tall and the machete was still in his shoulder. He then back handed me and I flew like what seemed 20 feet. All I could see was stars and lights flashing in my vision. I could hear Dogg growl and then I heard a roar from the Zombie that scared me…

I crawled across the ground and realized that my hand hit the broken rifle. It had just only had the butt stock broken off. So I reached into my right pants pocket and pulled out the 4 extra shells I kept there. I felt my way to load them as my vision started to clear. I heard Dogg growl and I heard the Zombie scream in hate and fear. I could tell Dogg was winning…

My eyes cleared enough to see what was happening and I realized why the Zombie was loosing it. Dogg was doing his famous bite the crotch and don’t let go until death, type of move. The Zombie had a 15 kilo titanium toothed killer latched on to were it hurts guys the most. This Zombie was not happy about what Dogg was doing…

I levered the gun and aimed the best I could without a stock. I yelled, “Hey Ugly!” The Zombie looked up at me and I pulled the trigger…

The bullet entered right between the Zombies eyes and blew the whole back of his head off. Dogg let go of the Zombie and ran like hell. For Dogg did not want to be underneath the Zombie when he fell…

I swear the ground shook and trembled. But most likely that was just my head still messed up from being smacked. As the Zombie hit the ground the machete popped out from his shoulder and I ran to grab it. I then chopped his head off, to make sure he was not going anywhere…

Dogg came over to me where I had just sat down on the ground and licked my face as if to say, “Good Daddy!”

Well that is it for today and next time I will talk about the trip we (Dogg and I) made downtown in our quiet little city. It was interesting and we met the mayor…

Home Sweet Home is a Old Power Plant…

*** Next article is more tuned toward an explanation about the place were Dogg and I live now. We had a good Christmas and have a very safe and secure home. It is bomb proof and no Zombies around… ***

Looks like I should explain our living conditions a little better. I have been very busy because Dogg and I have had to clean up a huge mess of Zombies that were trapped inside this old power plant that we call a home now…

I pulled some strings and got permanent residence of this old underground power plant that is built like a fortress. Dogg and I set up an old office area as a home and reenforced the walls and doors of the office equivalent to a bank vault. I decided that I do not want to be surprised again by baby, spider or any Zombie for that matter…

Now I am not saying that the old power plant is not built like a fortress but a little assurance is always good and after the last month, I think it is necessary anymore…

Here is some pictures of what it looks like…

Inside...
The front door...

We now have a new desktop computer and even got ourselves a TV to watch. Dogg got new titanium teeth after the last ones got dissolved by the Spider Zombie and he is very happy now. Dogg likes his shiny titanium teeth and I find them useful to crunch Zombie necks…

I also have restocked my weapons because we lost everything due to so many battles with the Zombies. I was down to just one usable machete and that just was not going to cut the mustard…

So I picked up another 444 Marlin Lever action, two Mexican Brush Machetes and I ordered a two handed Cold Steel Chinese War Sword. I can’t wait for that one. I had it made specially with a ceramic blade that is suppose to be impervious to anything and permanently deadly sharp …

I also got Dogg a new set of body armor and titanium claws for his feet. I also picked him up a chew toy that looks like a dead chicken, so that he could make it squeak as he played. So Dogg is one happy dog…

It took days to clean everything up and Dogg and I had to drag the bodies outside and burn them. Hundreds of Zombies take a long time to burn. That is why I have not written for awhile…

We also had lots of workers in and out rebuilding the wiring and plumbing in the old power plant. We also had as I said the office area built like a fortress and now as I type this Dogg is sleeping with his chicken toy and I am sitting at my new desk writing this article…

I have to say something though! I thought everything is under control around the power plant but I keep hearing a deep rumble from under the power plant. It is not bad but it is definitely from under the power plant. I have got to explore the lower levels better and see if there is one last door that we have not discovered. I really do not want to deal with more Zombies sneaking up on me at night or in the day for that matter…

So we are caught up to date and I will try to do a better job keeping things updated. I will say that Dogg and I see a lot of signs of Zombies out about the town and I am suspecting that the new mayor of our city is a Leader Zombie and if he is then that could be a real issue…

Until next time…

New Home and Some Truths Today…

*** We left and all was quiet. It was time to find us a new base and home. I had an idea where, but first we had to get rid of the Source Code Female Zombie that gave birth to the Baby Zombie that we just killed in the last post… ***

The last post was installed by cell phone and it is just too hard to do it that way. So I waited until Dogg and I were relocated and I had a new laptop to keep recording on this blog!

So where to start? First we went to the old power plant that was located outside of the city. It is built like a fortress and no one is there accept Zombies. It was abandoned many years ago and no sane human goes to the area. I guess you realize what that makes me…

Second I need to tell you a little more about me. I have kinda lied in the past and made out that I am just a normal guy who has these tendencies to kill Zombies, all for the good of mankind. Well that is not totally true. I am an ex Airborne Ranger and after extensive stints killing thousands of men, women and children all over the world. I decided to quit killing innocent people for the government and kill the latest threat to our society – The Zombie. That is all I will say about my government work, but I will say that government sucks and that is that and that is final…

Third Dogg and I have much in the way of resources at our disposal so you need not worry about if we will have the funds to keep killing Zombies as our homes and life is destroyed on a daily basis…

So lets talk about the escapade that turned an old power plant into the new base for a Zombie proof home…

Dogg and I went down the long road or driveway that leads to the old power plant. We had decided to try to stay quiet and not kill any Zombies unless we have to. Since Zombies can warn others Zombies that we are here, we sorta wanted to sneak in and see if this place is what we want first. We got into the plant with no issue. It was broad daylight and Zombies are kinda scarce during the day. After breaking a lock on a side door. Dogg and I found that the main body of the building with steel bar windows and walls of reinforced concrete 4 feet thick, it was also half buried in the ground and had no one had been inside for a long time. So besides being dusty it was untouched and sound. It was a fortress that even an Apocalypse would not faze it. In fact it seemed to be built to withstand atomic bombs…

That made up my mind to use this as a base and by the looks of the place, anymore Baby Zombies would have a hard time getting us in this building… 🙂

This was all fine and dandy, but since we had left the door open when we came in we had a surprise that almost ended this little fortress dream. The Source Code Zombie had spotted us as we broke in and decided to pay a little visit for a tasty lunch. That ended my theory that Zombies are not around much in the day time..

I was grabbed from behind and surprised by the Source Code Zombie. Dogg was just as surprised as I was. I guess the place overwhelmed us and we lost track of what we should be aware of. (You know like Zombies.) I had plans on killing this female Source Code Zombie but really at that moment it was not in the plans. I like to think things out before I go killing Zombies. Well it seems that Dogg decided that this was his kill and extracted revenge for this Zombie giving birth to a Baby Zombie that almost killed us…

I will not go into details – Lets just say Dogg and his titanium teeth are deadly… (Yuck!) The last I saw of Dogg that day, he was playing with the head of the Zombie in the corner of the building and I did not have the heart to take it away from him. He was having just too much fun…

So today I am writing this to let you know that we are getting a new place set up. I went and got a new laptop and some new weapons. I will talk more in detail in the next few days after I get the power situation worked out in the building. It looks to be a great place to stay safe and I am just too busy to write a whole lot right now. I do promise to try to get a picture of the place and get everyone updated on what we are doing next…
