Crack the Missile Base… (Part 1)

Have you ever seen a swarm of bees or maybe a swarm of ants. You know thousands and thousands of little insects just destroying all in its way. Okay: I know a swarm of grasshoppers. Except the Zombies were a swarm of slow moving grasshoppers…

It all came together when I caught a leader god Zombie by the neck and gave him an ultimatum: I said, “Send the swarm of Zombies against the gates and walls of that base and I will let you live until I come for the gods in the heavens…” That seemed to be a incentive that was catchy in the god Zombies mind and he did exactly what I wanted. Between him and Ben Zombie in my soul, they sent over a million Zombies against the protective barrier that was surrounding the base that I was going to enter…

I have to say it was really something else. The Zombies mindlessly surrounded the base and as a Zombie died another just stepped into the path of the next bullet. The air was misted in red and black blood as a cloud that hung over the whole field of death. The sun turned red as I watched the guns destroy Zombies…

I was surprised at how long the guns held out. It was hours and Zombies mindlessly climbed a mountain of dead Zombies to get to the base. The guns where pointing straight up almost into the sky as the pile of dead Zombies was upon the wall of the base. All 4 walls of the base were surrounded with dead Zombies, piled to the red sun…

Then the guns ran out of ammo, one at a time they quit functioning. Some quit as the last auto replaced barrel was burned out and others just were out of ammo. They all tried to swivel as a Zombie got near to them but death by the towers was over…

I told the god Zombie that they are not to enter the building and Ben agreed with that…

So what happened next was interesting. The door on a tunnel opened and maybe 200 men in uniform came out with guns blazing. But I sent two thousand Zombies over the dead Zombie mound and in a few minutes what was left of my Zombie swarm was happily munching and all you could hear was satisfying lip smacking delicious sounds… 🙂 Oh and screams of being eaten alive by Zombies… 🙁

The tunnel sealed itself and who ever was still inside was not going to play nice yet. For 4 new rails that were mounted on the corners of the main building came out of the roof and rockets flew everywhere…

My suit of armor extracted at just the correct moment and saved me from being a toasted marshmallow. Now I was mad…

I saw all the Zombies retreat and all four cannons where trained on me at that point. I had my shield and sword and I decided that Ben was to tell everyone that play time is over. Zombies can go have a picnic and Dogg, Girl and god Zombie are to be waiting healthy wealthy and wise when I come back. If I come back. Other words: Dogg and Girl better not be touched, by anyone…

I saw a Zombie god at the top of the mountain of dead Zombies and he waved meekly at me and gave a thumbs up signal, as if he was telling me, “No problem boss!” I then heard a bow wow and I knew everything was cool…

Then I turned back to the base after I saw everyone was clear of what was going to happen next. I took one step and the rocket launchers let off at once and I found myself in the middle of a war and it was me or them. The only thing that kept me in the boundaries of the base walls was the fact that a million dead Zombies were piled up stopping me from being knocked any farther back. They unloaded all they had and every damn one of those rockets hit me square on. Then all got quiet and while they were thinking, “Was he dead?” I was trying to get the suit back online and functioning properly again. The schematics inside my view plate told me that we sustained enough energy from those blasts to destroy a small country and it would take a few minutes to sort it all out and siphon off the excess…

I told you it was a cool suit and then I said forget it, channel the energy to my suit shields and I am attacking. Hesitation was not what I wanted and I yelled, “Do it now!” Then I jumped up and the rockets hit me again as I jumped 30 meters in the air and landed on the roof of the base. Oops, the rails just aimed at me and are taking out the base roof. Oops, what a silly mistake they made in programing…

Then the rails were silent and then I told my suit to siphon the energy off and pin point it straight down at my feet…

The weakened roof of at least 12 foot of reenforced concrete, exploded under me and I found myself in a pile of rubble and staring at a huge vault of a door, if it was as thick as the walls then it was going to be at least 3 meters thick. I did not have a key! But I had something better to get to who lay behind…
